Henrik Holappa’s application for political asylum tells his story. Holappa first ran afoul of Finnish authorities in August 2006 because of his nationalist politics. He has persistently opposed massive immigration on non-Whites into Finland. Whether you consider the issue from a secular or Biblical perspective, all "humans" do not share a common ancestry. The idea that all humans are "family" is a lie propagated by the ruling Jewish Establishment and the apostate "Judeo-Christian" churches -- and supported by the fraudulent theory of evolution -- which serves as a basis for the "multicultural", race-mixing, and "one world community" agenda that is designed to destroy the white race through mongrelization and absorption with the non-white races.
Biologically and scientifically speaking, how is it possible for the pure-blooded black, asian, and white races to have descended from Adam and Eve, Noah and his wife, or any other common ancestor? Could Adam and Eve reproduce and have black, white, and asian children? Of course not. That's biologically impossible.
The black, white, and asian races -- in their pure-blooded states, absent any mixing among the races -- are of completely different lineage. They were created separately, and are essentially different species of "humans." The fact that separate races can interbreed (and produce hybrid species) is not proof of common origin or common species, as this phenomenon exists among other animals -- eg, lion and tiger can mate and produce a hybrid "liger", horse and donkey to produce mule, etc.

In this the bicentenary year of Charles Darwin's birth, and the 150th anniversary of 'On the Origin of Species', it's sad to see that there are still people who cannot see the wonder (and truth) of evolution.
Far from supporting mixed marriages, evolution shows them up to be unnatural. All life on earth shares a single common ancestor (probably about 3 Billion years ago), and all life has been diverging ever since. All the human races do indeed come from the same branch of the evolutionary tree, but we are now diverging from each other, and will eventually become separate species (we will of course all still be apes). As far as I know, there has never been a natural recombination of divergent lines, it would (as far as I'm aware) be against all the laws of evolution.
To encourage the mixing of the human races is to act against evolution, and end the very diversity that liberals seem to worship so enthusiastically.

Israel certainly isn't a perfectly run country, and I have many concerns about its actions over the last 40 years, but they are our allies and (in general) Islamic states are not. Taking a positive roll in trying to bring Israel (or at least its worst excesses) to heal, while accepting its right to exist as a sovereign state, should be our aim.
Many of the other points you make are pure nonsense. 9/11 was not a conspiracy by the US and Israeli governments. It was a cowardly terrorist attack, by the forces of Islam, on the US civilian population, and cannot be justified by simply pointing out that Israel has attacked Palestinian civilians. As for your crazy idea that the murder of millions of innocent people in Nazi concentration camps is a myth, I'm simply sick of this nonsense. If we take an average generation as being 28 years, then in my case the mathematical maximum number of people I'm descended from 2000 years ago becomes 2^(1955/28) = 1.043 x10^21 i.e. more people than have ever lived in total. So there must be doubling and tripling up etc (that is your 15th times granddad from one branch of your family tree is also your 17th times granddad on another branch). Even so the total number of ancestors we had 2000 years ago must be incredibly large. We are all probably descended from everyone on earth 2000 years ago, who had descends alive 300 years later*.
So by your logic anyone can claim the ancestral right to live anywhere. I'm sorry I just don't agree with your view on the right to inherit land by some 2000 year old claim. You see I live in the real world.

Whenever the FBI, as a law enforcement agency, investigates suspects, it is very legal and morally justifiable for the FBI to infiltrate a suspected group with informants. In fact, the use of informants is a legitimate and widely used method of gaining intelligence on suspected criminals. The fact that dishonest Muslims pretend this is a matter of “trust” is an example of political correctness, not intelligence and honesty. The dishonest Muslims are making appeals to “politically correct” sentimentalities to make the FBI and public feel bad for offending (i.e. investigating) them.
Radical Muslims hope this ploy will prevent the FBI or police from continuing investigations into their terrorist activities in the future. This will only help terrorists hiding behind, and receiving support from, mosques to finalize their next plot to mass-murder innocent Americans. In short, radical Muslim pretense at being the “mistreated minority” is an intentional concealment of actual terrorists and their plots.
This “trust/victim” trick, among others, is called “cultural jihad” for a reason. The radical Muslims know our culture is filled with leftwing emphasis on political correctness (i.e. hypersensitive concern for “offending” minorities at the expense of acting justly). So the best way to protect terrorists inside America, corrupt Muslims realize, is to play the “mistreated minority” role every time they are investigated. Hiding terrorists behind seemingly legitimate mosques can also help dishonest Muslims play up the “religious discrimination” and “civil rights” complaints that also mislead the politically correct.
The solution to political correctness is to continue doing solid intelligence-gathering regardless of who it offends. To allow peoples’ hypersensitivity to trump bona fide investigations into suspected terrorist groups will only render our legal system ineffective and unable to defend our nation from terrorism. Part of this solution is based on replacing political correctness with commonsense. It is commonsense that infiltration of suspect groups with informants is legitimate investigative work. This fact does not change merely because the group or individuals in question happen to be of a particular race or creed.

Extremist cleric Abu Qatada has issued a 6,000-word statement to his followers from inside one of Britain's high security prisons.
The letter was reportedly smuggled out of Long Lartin high-security jail, Worcestershire, and is circulating on jihadi websites.
The 48-year-old Palestinian preacher praises the Mujahidin and the 'martyrs of Hamas' and claims his treatment is helping to radicalise a new generation of young British Muslims.
In the statement he says: ' A new generation of the Muslim youth has been raised and especially amongst our brothers who originate from the Indian subcontinent, who were no longer mesmerised by the English authority, nor English values - rather they hate it and they know its enmity towards them, so they have become enemies towards it.'
He also boasts that prison has helped him lose more than 50lb in weight and he has been cured of diabetes and back problems.
The cleric claims that Bilal Abdullah, the NHS doctor jailed for the car bomb attacks in London and Glasgow in 2007, told him he was heavily influenced by his taped sermons.
James Brandon, of the Quilliam Foundation, told the Times: 'It is terrifying that Abu Qatada has been allowed to distribute pro-jihadist texts from within British prisons.
'The very reason that Abu Qatada has been detained is because he has threatened public safety by inciting terrorism and violence.
'Yet the Prison Service appears powerless to prevent him from continuing to incite violence and hatred from behind bars.'
Quatada is considered one of the most dangerous Muslim hate preachers and classified as a high-risk Category A prisoner.

A Prison Service spokesman said: 'This prisoner has absolutely no access to the internet and cannot personally contribute to websites.
'However, we are unable to prevent third parties from publishing information which is, or claims to be, on other people's behalf or in their name.'

So rattled is Common Purpose by the steady leak of information revealing its political agenda and huge fees taken from the taxpayer, that they have now apparently enlisted the BBC to manage their tawdry image. Brian Gerrish was recently invited to speak concerning CP on BBC Radio Mersyside on Friday 27 March 2009 after the Presenter Roger Phillips linked his name with the BNP. Mr Phillips claimed that he was only able to find material by Brian Gerrish on the BNP's website. This is despite the fact that a single entry of the name Brian Gerrish in Google produces hundreds of linked articles and talks. Brian complained at the BBC bias and was quickly invited onto the Friday lunchtime show apparently to star the local Liverpool Common Purpose Director Ken Pye.
On the day, and not surprisingly, Mr Pye was 'unable' to appear. This left Roger Phillips to attempt to discredit Brian Gerrish. Normal tactics were used including suggestions of 'conspiracy theory', BNP and claims that Common Purpose was 'suffering' under Freedom of Information requests from the public. But why was Mr Phillips so keen to defend and support Common Purpose?
Aside from the fact that hundreds of BBC senior staff have been Common Purpose trained at £3950 plus VAT each (see BBC and media Archive of this site), Mr Phillips is a regular participant in Liverpool Common Purpose net-working events, alongside none other than Mr Ken Pye. Using license payers money on air Mr Phillips was happy to make claims trying to highlight the honesty and probity of Common Purpose although he had no documents or evidence to support his claims. Phillips apparently made further supportive claims for Common purpose after Brian Gerrish had left the show. Is this what the BBC is for...Common Purpose advertising? Mr Phillips had also failed to look at any of the documentary evidence on this site. So the interview was again biased. Welcome to Common Purpose control of the media. An Anonymous poster left a link to a youtube video which I repeat below.
However I have to say that when I watched this video I was outraged at the bad science put forward in it. Although I am neither a chemist nor food scientist, I do have an extensive knowledge of microwave theory. Irradiation is nothing more than the process of subjecting food to a very small (and totally harmless) dose of electromagnetic radiation. The talk of free radicals and enzymes etc. did go a little over my head, but we do know that radiation is a naturally occurring phenomenon (Sunlight is electromagnetic radiation) without which no life could exist.
Look at this video closely and you'll find much of the discussion is simply left hanging in the air. We are told that radiation destroys between 5-80%* of the vitamins in the fruit and vegetables, but what percentage does the aging process destroy per day. Both the FDA in the US and the DA here in the UK have found radiation to be a beneficial process, which has no harmful side effects for the consumer (this has been backed up by many scientific studies).
Personally I welcome irradiated (ie. I don't like rotting food), although I do wish they would fully ripen tomatoes before irradiating them, as they simply will not ripen afterwards.
Finally if you really are against irradiated food (despite all its obvious benefits) then you must throw away your microwave oven, because that gives the food a far bigger (100's of time in fact) dose of radiation than this process ever will.

Church should fund NHS chaplains
The society says churches should pay for hospital chaplains
Religious groups should fund their own presence in UK hospitals and save the NHS some £40m per year, the National Secular Society (NSS) suggests.
The organisation of non-believers says such money would be better spent on "much needed" nurses or cleaners.
The NSS claims even organ players in hospital chapels are on NHS payrolls.
NHS guidance notes all patients have a right to religious observance and that trusts should provide both faith representatives and places to pray.
'Pressure on services'
The NSS said it contacted 233 acute and mental health trusts which spent a total of £26.72m on chaplains, at an average of £48,953 each.

The society extrapolated these figures for the whole of the UK to produced a national average of £32m.
But the NSS said this took into account only the salaries of the chaplains, and excluded national insurance contributions, pension payments, administration costs, office accommodation, training, and the upkeep of chapels and prayer rooms.
NSS president Terry Sanderson told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that the £40m figure was equivalent to employing 1,300 nurses or 2,645 cleaners.
"I think if people were given the choice they would choose the latter [nurses or cleaners] because frontline services are under pressure, they are going to be increasingly so as the recession bites, and it's important that savings are made wherever they can be," he said.
But Father Paul Mason, a Roman Catholic hospital chaplain in London, said there was a call from patients for chaplaincy services.
"We are all busy, there is a demand, we're not there because we're trying to find something to do, we are there because there is demand on the ground for chaplains to be present," he said.
'Health burden'
The role of NHS chaplains - who come from a range of faiths and denominations including Anglican, Roman Catholic, Jewish and Muslim - ranges from visiting the sick, to administering sacraments and advising on ethical dilemmas.
They are also expected to help staff and relatives cope with death and serious illness.
Chaplains do an extremely demanding job, often in difficult circumstances, and their skill and dedication is highly valued by patients, relatives and staff
Department of Health spokesman
But the NNS says these services are part of churches' own "fundamental responsibility", and as such should be paid for out of their own pockets.
"Most people who go into a hospital come from the local area and it would be better if their own vicar, priest, rabbi or imam came to see them if they felt in need of religious support," Mr Sanderson said.
"This could be done as part of the clergypersons' regular duties - it should not fall as a burden on the NHS."
He added that in some cases organists were on the payroll to play in chapels and in other instances Catholic priests delivering last rites charge the hospital a "call-out" fee.
The organisation said it was asking the Department of Health to conduct more thorough research into the extent to which these services were used by patients, and how appreciated they were.
'Intrinsic care'
A Department of Health spokesman said it was "committed to the principle of ensuring that NHS patients have access to the spiritual care that they want, whatever faith or belief system they follow".
The spokesman said: "Chaplains do an extremely demanding job, often in difficult circumstances, and their skill and dedication is highly valued by patients, relatives and staff within the health service."
A Church of England spokesman said: "Spiritual healthcare has long been acknowledged, by both medical practitioners and the churches, to be an intrinsic part of caring for people in hospital.
"NHS Trusts pay for chaplaincies because they see them as part of their duty of care to patients, not because the churches force them to."

As part of the BNP’s rolling programme of administrative improvements designed to ensure that we are able to cope with our current rapid and expected further growth, we are pleased to announce that we have marked the start of the new financial year by moving from having an overworked Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer to creating a full Treasury Department.
This new department now employs professionally trained accounting staff as well as the key party officials who have done such sterling work by themselves up until now.
The BNP’s central accounting unit’s draft accounts for 2008 show a leap in our national operational income to well over £1 million last year. This year we are on course to do even better.
With the regional, branch and group turn-over on top of that, the whole operation is now far too big for the able but limited capacity staff who have so far shouldered the increasing burden. Our independent external auditors, in particular, have been pressing hard for action to deal with this situation, and this has now been done as follows:
The new Treasury Department comprises four full-time staff:
- A Chartered Accountant (ACCA qualified) with 25 years experience as a Senior Partner who will be responsible for implementing continuous management of financial systems and budgets and also undertaking independent checks in conjunction with an Auditor on the organisations financial position and providing financial advice;
- A fully qualified Accounts Technician (IATI qualified and also holding a BA (Hons) degree in Business Administration), with 10 years experience as an Assistant Accountant who will be responsible for taking accounts to trial balance stage, reconciling all bank accounts, VAT returns, responsibility for Sales / Purchase ledger and assisting with month end and year end procedures;
- Jennie Noble, outgoing National Treasurer, who will switch duties to take on running the Trafalgar Club. This will be undergoing a major revamp and expansion later this year in order to raise its profile as the flagship of the Party. Jennie will assist in handling vital core administrative jobs, particularly checking that all donations are legal under the very strict terms of the party political funding laws.
- David Hannam, who will continue to run the accounts of units in those regions not yet handling their own financial affairs.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Jennie Noble for her efforts over the last year to bring the party’s central treasury operation to the stage where it can be handed over to the professional administrators. While previous treasurers have done the best they could and have always ensured financial probity, Jennie’s extensive financial experience in pension fund management enabled her to bring us to this point, and we owe her a big debt of gratitude.
In keeping with best practice, the expanded Department staff will be answerable to a National Treasurer who is not paid for that role.
This oversight responsibility, which includes the job of providing reports to the Advisory Council and the Annual Conference, and the handling of all disbursements, will be dealt with by BNP Deputy Leader Simon Darby, who will be stepping down as West Midlands Regional Organiser with effect from 5th June.
We wish all the new team the best of luck in their roles.

Some of these changes are indeed welcome, although the replacement of Jennie Noble as our National Treasurer may not be a clever move.
I'm glad to see Griffin is standing down as the NW Regional Organiser (a job he never actually did), but I have grave reservation about the suitability of Clive Jefferson to take on the position. However I guess we must give him the benefit of the doubt and wait to see how he performs in the job.
What I would say however is that nothing in these changes alters the fact that the BNP's constitution is inherently undemocratic, and possibly unlawful. There is also nothing to suggest that the chaotic situation at the mid management level will be improved. But my biggest concern is still with the integrity (or should I say lack of it) of our National Chairman, and this does nothing at all to solve that problem.

'My investigations into Lancashire County Council(LCC) started over six weeks ago when I first discovered them listed on Dunn and Bradstreets' website. It is listed there as a company and all of the schools in the county are listed as their 'trading names'. I was interested to know more about the corporate status of LCC.
LCC was not the only supposed government organisation I found listed as a company on the above website. I could not, however, find them listed at Companies House, the UK Company Register database. This got me thinking!'

AN elderly couple who expressed concern about mess left behind by travellers’ groups have been branded racist.
Pensioners Rita and Norman Brookhouse had been asked their opinion about plans to create a local site for gipsies in an official survey.
They filled it out, suggesting residents of the site should be charged for rubbish collection.
The stunned pair then got a letter back saying their views would not be counted because they were “offensive” and “discriminatory”.
Mr Brookhouse, 73, of Havant, Hants, yesterday branded the move “utterly ridiculous”.
He added: “They asked us for our views but they did not like them.

The couple’s offending submission read: “Reasonable charges must be made for use of sites so that local people know the travellers are contributing to the community finances.

Moira Gibson, of the South East England Regional Assembly planning committee which sent out the survey, backed the decision.
She said that under the Race Relations Act they had to turn down submissions “reasonably considered to be of a discriminatory nature”.

A HOMEOWNER who claims travellers are behind 250 crimes on his property is facing jail for refusing to pay his council tax after his life became a living hell when the group moved in next door.
Roofer Bruce Charter, 62, claims his neighbours, who arrived when the council opened a traveller's site next to his £500,000 home without telling him 12 years ago, are behind the crimewave.
He has kept a diary of the crimewave and recorded 249 offences – including one year where he called the police 119 TIMES.

Mr Charter refused to pay his council tax in protest in 2000 and now owes a staggering £9,495 and has received 172 bailiffs' letters.
But he vows to stand his ground and is willing to ''serve time'' before paying the tax.
The grandfather-of-eight claims the council breached planning procedures when it set up the camp without giving him prior warning.
''It's like living in a war zone,'' he said. ''We don't enjoy our lives - they've been made a misery at best and a living hell at worst.
''Our home is now our prison, so if they want to send me to jail, so be it.
"But I will never pay. They should buy my house from me.
''I'm not a law breaker and I'm not fiddling benefit yet they treat me like dirt and ignore my rights.''
Mr Charter and his partner of 28 years Rita Redfern, 64, bought their derelict Victorian property set in two acres by the river Great Ouse at Earith, Cambs, in 1982.
They spent £100,000 transforming it into a beautiful five-bedroom home with a granny annex and outbuildings, including a workshop.
The couple lived their dream until the council purchased a small residential caravan site just feet from their back door in 1994.
Council officers turned the two acre site, which occasionally housed local fisherman and land workers, into an official travellers site with 16 pitches.
Burgled
Since the first theft of a lawn mower in June 1999, Mr Charter has kept a daily diary and logged 249 crimes ranging from the theft of a £500 Honda generator to 2,000 roof slates.
At one point he was burgled three times every week.
But after police officers failed to make a single arrest, Mr Charter stopped reporting the majority of crimes, instead choosing to keep his daily log.
The couple did not take a single holiday between 1992 and 2006 fearing they would come home to an empty house.

This is despite Rita, a secretary, undergoing major surgery for a cyst on her brain.
In 2001 he took the case to the local government Ombudsman, which found the council guilty of maladministration and causing injustice.
The council was ordered to pay Mr Charter £500 and said it would seek to resolve his problems.
He tried to sell the property but it languished on the market for four years.
He was also unable to rent his workshop and lost the income, about £5,000 a year, which was supposed to be his pension.
In 2005 he sued East Cambridgeshire District Council (ECDC) for causing a nuisance and negligence.
In September 2006, Mr Charter, and his former neighbour Carol Millar, settled out of the court for a ''small'' undisclosed sum of money.
Prior to settlement Mr Charter had appeared before magistrates in Ely, Cambs, six times for non-payment of council tax.
Now three years later Mr Charter has still not paid up and believes the council should purchase his home for market value – about £500,000.
His solicitor Kathy Yates has been working to find a solution for almost a decade and is outraged at the way the council has treated her client.
Mrs Yates said: ''Bruce is stuck. His life is a misery."
KILLERS, rapists and paedophiles could be able to vote from their prison cells under plans being considered by the Government.
The right to a postal vote for those serving up to four years is under “public consultation”.
It would mean some of the most reviled lags in Britain having a say in who runs the country.
In 2007, prisoners sentenced to less than four years included 154 convicted of manslaughter, 10,060 convicted of wounding, 78 rapists and 1,425 other sex offenders.
The European Court of Human Rights is forcing the UK to change 140-year-old laws which ban inmates from voting.
The Ministry of Justice has written a consultation paper which covers the options. The proposal is “open-ended”, which means no type of prisoner has yet been ruled out.
But officials are aiming to exclude the most serious offenders. They want to allow only prisoners who are serving up to one year to vote.
Justice Minister Michael Wills said: “We will ensure whatever the outcome of this consultation the most serious and dangerous offenders will not be able to vote.”
The Tories are against the move — and last night demanded a parliamentary debate on the issue.
Shadow Justice Secretary Dominic Grieve said: “Civic rights go with civic responsibility, but these rights have been violated by those who commit imprisonable offences.”
TEN MPs who act as anti-sleaze watchdogs claimed £4million in expenses.
A Sun investigation found members of the all-party Committee on Standards and Privileges have drawn £4,047,325 since joining in July 2005.
This is on top of the MP’s salary of £64,000. Three committee members claimed the full £23,083 “second home” allowance last year. A fourth pocketed just £1,000 short of the ceiling.
Last year the powerful committee claimed £1.4million in housing, travel, staff and office costs.
Tory MP Sir George Young, who chairs the committee, employs his daughter from his taxpayer-funded allowances. Labour’s Andrew Dismore spent £37,414 on stationery in the year he joined the committee and £29,145 the following year.

EU trains a new diplomatic corps - without waiting for Lisbon Treaty
The European Union was accused of "contempt for democracy" on Sunday after it emerged that hundreds of members of a new diplomatic service are being trained - even though the Lisbon Treaty that creates it has not come into effect.
Five hundred and thirty staff from the European Commission have already begun training to build a "shared diplomatic culture and an esprit de corps" for the EU's putative External Action Service (EEAS).
Irish voters blocked the Lisbon Treaty, which provides the legal basis for a new Euro-diplomatic corps, when they rejected the renamed EU Constitution in a referendum last June.

A council sends snooping officials to rifle through the rubbish of taxpayers at a cost of £60,000 a year.
'Bin police' have been going through wheelie bins in 'dawn raids' in a bid to establish what type of rubbish was being thrown away.
Stunned residents were woken by council contractors emptying their bins into containers at 5.30am before driving off.
The scheme aims to find out levels of household recycling and what measures the local authority could introduce to improve waste disposal and treatment.
But residents have slammed the scheme run by Lancashire County Council as an invasion of their privacy and condemned it as a Big Brother-style intrusion.
Eric Green, of Chorley, Lancs, said: 'The council should be up front and if they want to check our rubbish then they should knock on our doors and ask to do so.
'The bins might be theirs, but the rubbish is ours and this is a form of snooping. I won't accept what they are doing - not at 5.30 in the morning.'
Another resident Melanie Wallwork said: 'I wouldn't be happy if I found them rooting through my bins - it's sneaky.
'If they want to check what rubbish I am throwing away then they should come at a normal time and knock on my door. I don't have anything to hide.'
Cllr Geoff Driver, Conservative group leader, said: 'I thought this was a wind-up. It actually beggars belief that county council officers will go round rooting in people's bins without their knowledge.
'In these days of identity theft, the officers are putting themselves at risk that some residents might take extreme exception to what they are doing.'

The step-mother of Cherie Blair was today at the centre of a 'vote rigging' row as she embarked on her crusade to become an MP.
After appearing to suffer defeat to her opponent in an election to select a candidate to represent Calder Valley in the General Election, Stephanie Booth - who is married to Cherie's actor father Tony - stormed to a landslide win on the strength of postal votes.
On the night of the count she was losing the vote by 35 to 22. However, when postal votes were counted the balance had shifted handing her a decisive 95-52 win.

Today supporters of defeated opponent Susan Press called for an investigation into the selection process, claiming Mrs Booth's team had broken canvassing rules.
It has been alleged that Mrs Booth's supporters helped party members to fill in their postal voting forms, breaking party rules.
The Yorkshire Post also revealed that it was alleged a list of party members was leaked to the Unite union, which used it to send letters to each member seeking backing for Mrs Booth.
Within the letter political officer Dick Croft wrote that a 'first class candidate' would need to be elected, going on to say: 'Steph Booth is a member of Unite and in my view will be a first class Member of Parliament.'

One Calder Valley Labour Party member, who was not named, said: 'I attended the hustings and Sue Press was the clear winner.
'However, someone had been round canvassing – so many were cast in favour of Steph she won on the strength of postal voting and a lot of people are very bitter about it.
'So many postal votes cast make a mockery of the democratic process which the hustings represent.'.
Mrs Booth said the hustings had taken place on Maundy Thursday - the day before the Easter holidays and 'the first opportunity people have to go on holiday'.
She said former Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie had phoned to congratulate her following the result.
'They are delighted and said "Well done"'.
A Labour spokesman for Yorkshire and the Humber said: 'The selection of Labour's prospective Parliamentary candidate for Calder Valley was carried out under the rules and procedures set down by the national executive committee of the Labour party.
'The ballot gave a clear victory to Steph Booth as the chosen candidate, and she is now working hard campaigning on the real issues of concern for ordinary residents of the Calder Valley.'
Immediately after her defeat Mrs Press said: 'I am disappointed that I haven't been selected as the Labour candidate. However, I will be working as hard as I can to ensure that Steph is returned as the next Labour MP for Calder Valley.'
She refused to comment on allegations of vote rigging.
Calder Valley is a marginal seat and was held by the Tories for many years by the late Sir Donald Thompson. It was won by Chris McCafferty for the Labour Party in the 1997 landslide and has been kept by her at the last two General Elections. Mrs McCafferty announced some time ago that she would be standing again at the next election

European taxpayers may end up having to plug gaping multi-million pound holes in a special EU pension scheme for lawmakers in Brussels after losses on world financial markets.
Between £35 and £50 million was allegedly lost in the Bernie Madoff debacle from MEPs pension funds.
Although EU officials deny investing directly with the disgraced American financier, it has been reported they did put cash into other schemes which fed into Madoff’s businesses.
Some commentators believe as much as £200million could have been lost in total.

ED BALLS, the schools secretary, used Damian McBride, the disgraced spin doctor, to smear ministerial rivals and advance his own ambitions, a Downing Street whistleblower has claimed.
In an explosive new twist to the e-mail affair, a No 10 insider has revealed that Balls was the mastermind behind a “dark arts” operation by McBride to undermine colleagues.
He claims the education secretary is running a destabilising “shadow operation” inside Downing Street to clear his path for the party leadership if Labour loses the next election.
The insider said: “There is now an operation within an operation at No 10 and it answers to Ed Balls.”

Balls’s behaviour has provoked a backlash from ministers, who fear his ambition is distracting the government from fighting the recession. Some insiders believe the shadow operation threatens to destroy Labour’s hopes of winning the general election.
The whistleblower, who has had a ringside seat on the power struggles inside No 10, claims that Balls:
— Engineered McBride’s move from civil servant to special adviser
— Repeatedly protected McBride when colleagues called for him to be sacked
— Was in constant contact with McBride, sending him up to 20 e-mails a day
— Instructed McBride to brief against cabinet rivals
— Exploits a weekly “strategy” meeting, which he chairs at Downing Street, to shore up his power base.
The whistleblower claims the prime minister is “strangely naive” about Balls’s activities: “He doesn’t see what’s going on. He unwittingly helps Ed by sidelining the ministers Ed sees as a threat.”
All the claims are denied by Balls, who labelled them “completely fabricated and malevolent nonsense”. A spokesman for Brown also dismissed the claims.
Senior Labour figures have confirmed there is widespread anxiety about Balls’s activities. The revelations will fuel concern that the government is in terminal decline, with senior ministers more worried about positioning themselves for life after defeat than about rescuing the economy.
The whistleblower, who has never spoken to the media before, was prompted to speak out through loyalty to Brown and the Labour party. He was angered by an interview given by Balls last week in which he distanced himself from McBride, who was forced to resign over plans to spread scurrilous rumours about senior Tories.
“In that interview, Ed called Damian ‘Mr McBride’ as if he barely knew him. In fact, Ed was running McBride. It was Ed who first spotted McBride’s talent, Ed who was behind his appointment as a special adviser and Ed who made sure he stayed in the job. Recently, McBride has been working almost entirely for him,” the whistleblower said.
Investigations by The Sunday Times have revealed that before the e-mail scandal, at least eight senior government figures urged Brown to dismiss McBride amid concerns that he was a liability. They included Lord Mandelson, the business secretary; Harriet Harman, the deputy Labour leader; Alastair Campbell, the former spin doctor; Lord Carter, the former No 10 strategy chief; Douglas Alexander, Labour’s election supremo; and two other Downing Street officials, David Muir and Nick Stace. It is understood Gus O’Donnell, the cabinet secretary, also raised concerns.
According to the insider, on each occasion Balls protected McBride, persuading Brown he was too valuable to lose: “Even before we got to Downing Street there were discussions about whether it was wise for McBride to come too. Some thought he should stay at the Treasury. But Ed blocked it.”
Balls, who has worked alongside Brown for 15 years, has made little secret of his ambition to become chancellor, saying only a month ago in an interview that he would “love” the job. Publicly he has claimed to have no “plan” to become party leader.
The insider claims Balls used McBride to help clear his path, “instructing” the spin doctor to brief against colleagues who could be a threat. Among his alleged targets were Alexander, David Miliband, the foreign secretary, and Jacqui Smith, the home secretary. He claims Balls hopes to replace Darling in the next reshuffle.
The whistleblower revealed that Balls was given the chairmanship of a weekly “strategy” meeting inside No 10 as a “sop” after the return of Mandelson to government. Regular attendees include Tom Watson, the junior cabinet minister, Charlie Whelan, political director of Unite, the UK’s largest trade union, and, until his resignation last week, McBride. Liam Byrne, another cabinet minister, also plays a prominent role but is not regarded as part of Balls’s “shadow operation”.
The whistleblower accused Balls of using the meetings to further his own agenda.
There is no suggestion Balls was aware of McBride’s plans to spread scurrilous rumours about David Cameron, the Tory leader, and George Osborne, the shadow chancellor. But Labour figures smeared by McBride believe the education secretary was behind their treatment.
A spokesman for Balls said: “These allegations are completely fabricated and malevolent nonsense without any foundation in fact. The only fact is that Ed Balls and Liam Byrne have jointly chaired a meeting on Wednesday afternoons at the express request of the prime minister.
“Other than that, Ed has spent all his time trying to do his best for children and young people. He has always acted in the best interests of the Labour government.”
A spokesman for Brown rejected the allegations as “absurd and preposterous”, denying that Balls had instructed McBride to brief against ministers. He said there was “nothing unusual” in the level of e-mail correspondence between Balls and McBride.
Last night it emerged that Ray Collins, Labour’s general secretary, had attended a meeting to discuss the setting-up of a website for attacking prominent Tories. However, Collins denies any knowledge of the McBride smear e-mails. A complaint about last week’s coverage of the Damian McBride affair was made by Frances Osborne to the Press Complaints Commission. That complaint was resolved after The Sunday Times agreed not to republish Mr McBride’s untrue smears in relation to Mrs Osborne and to remove specific references to them from our website.

In his 1996 thesis – Far More Important Than Politics? Public Policy And The Impact Of Urban Riots, 1964–68 – he showed a positively alarming understanding of how to use disinformation.
McBride said that the spark for riots was ‘most often a single, symbolically significant act of white abuse or exploitation, rarely in terms of what actually happened as in how the act was perceived through rumours’.
And he cited a book by Patricia Turner called I Heard It Through The Grapevine: Rumor In African-American Culture, which sounds like a political saboteur’s handbook, listing a number of riot-inciting rumours, including the unprovoked clubbing to death of a pregnant black woman and the shooting of a black teenager with his hands up.

McBride approved of violent tactics, arguing that ‘lacking meaningful political representation, rioting was the only means by which ghetto blacks could protest their grievances’.
And, in a bizarre aside, he suggested that the riots led to ‘good humour, community bonding and temporary lapses in normal rates of sexual activity and substance abuse’ which ‘suggests communal exhibitionism derived from feelings of pride and freedom’.
Despite McBride’s wild views, his old Cambridge tutor, Professor Tony Badger, now the Master of Clare College, remembers him fondly.
He said: ‘We disagreed over the value of the riots – I thought they were counter-productive – but he was very focused, and it was an excellent thesis.
‘He was so good that I tried to persuade him to go and do a PhD in the States. It doesn’t surprise me that he has had such success in the political arena.’

Labour general secretary denies plan to set up website to spread Tory smears
Labour Party General Secretary Ray Collins has been accused of plotting to set up a website to smear Tory rivals
Labour's general secretary was tonight forced to deny claims he was involved in setting up a website to spread smears about senior Conservative MPs.
Ray Collins was accused of attending a meeting, along with then Downing Street aide Damian McBride, at which the planning and organisation of the Red Rag site was discussed.
The claim was made in the News of the World, which said it had obtained an email proving that Mr Collins chaired the gathering at the offices of the Unite trade union.
Red Rag was the site on which Mr McBride, who quit as one of Gordon Brown's most senior advisers last weekend, had planned to post unfounded claims about top Tories.
But Mr Collins issued a statement tonight denying any knowledge of the smears campaign, which also involved Labour supporter and blogger Derek Draper.
"I have had no knowledge whatsoever of any smears and found the stories and reports of the last week absolutely disgusting," the general secretary said.
"I did attend a meeting at the Unite head office on December 1 to discuss online digital campaigning and how we could support and encourage left of centre websites and bloggers.

Cruddas to stop claiming allowance on London flat - but denies milking system
Labour MP Jon Cruddas is to stop claiming second-home expenses on his upmarket flat in Central London and charge for his cheaper constituency home instead.
The leading Left-wing MP has received more than £86,000 in the so-called Additional Costs Allowance (ACA) since 2004 – only £1,400 less than the maximum over that period – on his Notting Hill mansion-block flat just four miles from Westminster.
At present, Mr Cruddas’s ‘main home’ – where he is meant to spend most nights a week – is his cheaper terrace house in his East London constituency of Dagenham –13 miles from the Commons.

But The Mail on Sunday has learned that he now intends to nominate the Dagenham property as his second home and to claim on it.
‘I’m in conversation with the Fees Office about it,’ he said.
Despite receiving more than £86,000, Mr Cruddas denied he had been abusing the expenses system, claiming that his new-found fame after coming third in the Labour deputy leadership contest two years ago meant he now spends more time at his Notting Hill flat.
‘Since 2007/8, partly as a consequence of the deputy leadership thing, I’ve moved around the country a lot more, and my main home has probably shifted away from what it was,’ he said.
Mr Cruddas also admitted that the switch was partly caused by recent rows over MPs’ second-home claims.
‘Given what’s been going on over the past few months, it quite rightly makes you continuously appraise the situation,’ he said.
Mr Cruddas bought his Notting Hill flat in 2004 for £375,000. Flats in the area are currently worth between £560,000 and £900,000.
He bought his Dagenham property in 2002 for £105,000 and average prices in the road are now around £180,000.
Challenged to admit that his new second-home claims would be lower if he started claiming on the Dagenham house, he said: ‘I don’t know. It might work out that way.
'I haven’t looked at it like that. It’s about the amount of time I spend in each place.’

This has been a week to provoke uncomfortable contemplation about the sort of country we are we now living in. We have learned that the Home Secretary, aided by civil servants, grossly exaggerated the security threat posed by a leak from her department, prompting the police to arrest an opposition MP. The Government has conceded that the surveillance powers it granted to local councils have been used to spy on innocent members of the public. And yesterday it emerged that Ian Tomlinson, who was assaulted by a police officer at the G20 protests in London earlier this month died not from a heart attack but abdominal bleeding. The common imprint on each of these stories is that of the unaccountable and rampant executive arm of the British state.
The authorities should have the ability to place suspected terrorists under surveillance. But it is ludicrous that these powers were ever placed in the hands of local councils, or could be used to investigate petty offences such as littering. Of course, civil servants have a right to stop confidential information from being smuggled out of their departments. But they should call in the police to investigate only if it is truly a matter of national security. It is not the job of the police to help to shield ministers from embarrassment. Similarly, no one disputes that the police need, on occasion, to apply reasonable force against demonstrators to protect public property. But the behaviour of certain officers in the City of London two and half weeks ago was utterly indefensible. Such brutality from the rank and file must flow from a terrible failure of leadership within the police.
This twisted state of affairs – civil servants hyping security threats, the police assaulting innocent members of the public, local councils snooping on their electorates – did not arise overnight. It is a toxic consequence of years of illiberal policy-making and a growing arrogance on the part of those who govern Britain.
There has been a pernicious assumption by those in power for much of the past decade that it is reasonable to give the executive sweeping powers in the name of public security and that the civil liberties Britons have enjoyed for generations matter little. This is the thinking that has been used to justify all manner of illiberal innovations from ID cards, to the DNA database, to prolonged detention without trial for terror suspects. Jacqui Smith used this very "national security" argument to justify calling in the police over the leaked Home Office documents.
Those who warned that the executive's power grab would end in an unacceptable erosion of our freedoms have been vindicated. The Government was warned when the council surveillance Bill was going through Parliament that it was too loosely drafted and gave too much power to local authorities. Such concerns were dismissed by ministers. Only now do they admit that they got it wrong. Yet they still cling to the belief that those with executive power are more competent guardians of public freedoms than the public itself.
We need a completely new approach. Any powers granted to public authorities to protect public safety must come with strict conditions of accountability. The police, in particular, need to be brought under much tighter control.
Whichever party forms the next government needs to take back those powers that should never have been conferred. But more than this, it must expunge the mentality that says security always trumps freedom. It is time our arrogant executive was put back in its rightful place.

'Go ahead and take drugs,' Government help hotline tells teenagers
Ministers today launched an investigation into the Government's drugs advice hotline after teenage callers were told to go ahead and use drugs.
Advisers on the Frank helpline condoned cannabis smoking by a 13-year-old and suggested to a 15-year-old who said she had experimented with ecstasy that she should go on taking it.
They told young teenagers that alcohol is more dangerous than cannabis and repeatedly counselled one worried caller not to tell the parents of a cannabis smoker about his drug use.

The £6.5 million-a-year Frank service has for six years been one of the Home Office's main weapons for alleviating the damage drugs do to the young.
Advice given by supposed experts manning the organisation's 42-hour helpline criticised Government drugs policy as well as encouraging youngsters to break the law.
A spokesman for the Home Office, which runs the Frank operation in tandem with the Department of Health and the Department of Children, Schools and Families, said: 'It is completely unacceptable for a FRANK adviser to be giving out wrong, misleading and inaccurate information.
'We are urgently looking into the matter and will identify the person or persons involved and take action.'
She added: 'Frank is an important resource for young people who need help and advice about drugs. It is vital that Frank advisers give out information which is correct - we will therefore investigate whether it is necessary to retrain advisers.'
Frank has been a controversial operation since it was launched in 2003. Designed to communicate the dangers of drugs to young people in their own language. It has been regularly attacked by critics who say it takes a liberal line and downplays dangers.
Its website, for example, suggests cannabis carries mental health risks only for those with an existing history of mental health problems.
But a series of calls to its helpline by newspaper reporters posing as teenagers found some among Frank's 75 advisers actively encouraging youngsters to use drugs.
One caller pretending to be worried about a 13-year-old boy using cannabis was told: 'If you use it a couple of times it doesn't have to cause any problems...alcohol is a much more powerful drug than cannabis and people don't turn into alcoholics.'
The adviser said they boy was using the drug because 'he's starting to become his own person' and that 'speaking with his parents will be a bit strange. You might get in trouble with him.'
A caller posing as a 15-year-old girl who had tried ecstasy was told: 'It's not going to affect your health. You didn't have any ill effects at all, you felt really good?
'I can point out the dangers but if you are going to do it, you're going to do it. A good idea is, if you don't know what you are taking, take a half of one and see how you go and if you are handling that OK, you can take the other half.'
The adviser did not know that ecstasy is in the most serious Class A legal bracket for drugs.
The caller was also told that she could smoke cannabis after taking ecstasy. 'What works for one person might not work for another, but generally speaking, no, you'd be able to spliff with it.'
The advice given to callers from the Sunday Telegraph provoked anger among opposition politicians and drug experts.
Shadow Home Secretary Chris Grayling said: 'The idea that the Government's helpline should be saying to young people "go for it" shows that the Home Office is all over the place in its approach to drugs.'
Campaigner Mary Brett of Europe Against Drugs said: 'When I was a teacher my pupils were getting these sorts of answers when they called Frank.
'These advisers seem to be completely ignorant. They do not seem to have been trained at all. I cannot imagine where the Home Office found them.
'This is incredible advice for a Government service to be giving, and the Home Office must scrap it, or rebuild it completely with advisers who know what they are talking about.'

I don't think that's the whole answer, more likely religion was originally an attempt to explain, what was then, the unexplainable by saying some all powerful man in the sky did it. Although I don't rule out the possibility, that to some extent, an attempt at mind control may have been involved in many cases. The most interesting point now is how they have evolved, and who still swallows them.
Intelligence seems to have little to do with belief, some very smart people are very religious, while there are many other examples of rather less intelligent people rejecting it totally. I belief religions are perpetuated by a phenomenon called 'Groupthink' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_think) that works a little like the 'King's new clothes' syndrome of old. Some people have speculated that religions evolve rather like living organism, i.e, survival of the fittest (or the most successful at passing their ideas on).
It is certainly, at least in my view, an almost unexplainable delusion.

You are right about it being based on survival of the fittest, this group have shaped the world with fairy tale lies, wars and debt. You rightly state intelligence or judgement is affected by how much of this poison/disinformation one has been forced fed - this is usually via education. Sadly some people cant see the wood for the trees, it is a mental blind spot. I find you tend to judge things by what you have been unknowingly forced fed and fail to look at who cooking then feeding you with the poisoned ingredients which then affect your judgement, making you an unwitting tool until you realise and open your mind you will always be part of the herd or groupthink helping our enemy to survive at our demise.

What rubbish religions, in various forms, had been around for many thousands of years before the Judaism. That (the Jewish religion we know today) probably started to develop around 800-1000 BC (not the 3000 BC often claimed). Buddhism is much older, as are/were many other religions both current and defunct. Trying to blame the Jewish race for religion is quite simply as deluded as such beliefs themselves.

There is clearly a distinct Jewish race. I can, without knowing anything about the person, tell members of that race from their facial features alone. Now not all people who follow the Jewish religion are members of that race. Many Jews, especially here in the UK and in the US, are (and appear to be) members of the Anglo-Saxon race who simply follow the Jewish delusion (faith), and some are of mixed decent. But a pure separate race of people called Jews does still exist.

BNP 'can make us a laughing stock,' says Yorkshire MP
Yorkshire will be a "laughing stock" in Europe if its voters elect a British National Party Euro-MP, a government minister has warned.
Dewsbury MP and justice minister Shahid Malik warned that the far-right party could "sneak in" at the European Parliament elections on June 4 because of the nature of the voting system. European Parliament seats are awarded by proportional representation on a region-wide basis. The number of seats each party wins is calculated according to the share of the vote that party achieves in each region.
Labour campaigners fear that the BNP may only need to pick up as little as 11 per cent of the vote to win a seat. The party received eight per cent of the vote in the 2004 European elections.
Speaking to the YEP, Mr Malik said: "We cannot afford to under estimate the threat of the BNP. Because of the nature of the voting system for European elections, there is always a possibility that a minority party can gain a seat. Across the country – in the Yorkshire region, in the North West, East Midlands, West Midlands and in London – there is the possibility that the BNP could sneak through because of the election system for the Euros. My message is clear – every vote will count and people must come out and support mainstream political parties otherwise we will be a laughing stock in Europe." LMAO.

Whether it be the corrupting ideology behind “Islamic” terrorism, salafi jihadism or the insidious institutional racism and bigotry of the British National Party, there are those who stand ready to fill the vacuum — with a sanitised identity and twisted vision — if the silent majority hold back from forging a new identity.
Uniting
When hateful and vile slogans are shouted at returning soldiers as they march through our towns, Joe and Jane Public should gather in large numbers to demonstrate peaceably that such bigotry has no place in England’s green and pleasant land.
Historically, Christianity has been at the heart of this nation.
In the 8th Century, the Venerable Bede, the father of English history, wrote not only of how the English were converted to Christianity, but how the Christian Gospel played a major social and civilising role in this country by uniting a group of warring tribes and conferring English nationhood upon them.
While it is true to say that such virtues as kindness to neighbours, fair play and common decency are not unique to the Christian faith — just as they are not unique to England — it is equally true to say these virtues have become embedded into our social fabric and heritage as a result of the Christian faith and its influence on society.
We need to become better acquainted with this heritage, be grateful for it and build upon it.
The spiritual wealth that made this country great is to be shared not only with present and future generations in England, but as a free gift from God to the whole of humanity.
Where once there was vision and zeal within this land, there now seems to be a malaise and apathy concerning both our purpose as a nation and our identity as a people.
We may have become richer as a nation, but we have become less happy and less fulfilled.
Without a common vision, the competing interests born of a rampant consumerism take our eyes away from a higher purpose
Some English people don’t like to say anything about their heritage, for fear of upsetting newcomers.
My question to them is simple: Why do you think we came here? There is something very attractive about the UK.
That is why people stay!
As a boy in Uganda, I was taught by British missionaries. Just as foreigners brought the Christian faith to England and the rest of the UK, so British foreigners handed on the baton to me, my family and my forebears.

To be patriotic is to appreciate and be grateful for all that is valuable in the country you live in.
It does not require you to be a xenophobe or a blinkered nationalist.
Has the time not come to make the Feast of St George, the Patron Saint of England, a public holiday for all to share?
Let us recognise collectively the enormous treasure that sits in our cultural and spiritual vaults.
Let us draw upon the riches of our heritage and find a sense of purpose for those who are thrashing around for meaning and settling for second best.
Let us not forego our appreciation of an English identity for fear of causing upset or offence to those who claim such an identity has no place in a multi-cultural society.
Englishness is not diminished by newcomers who each bring with them a new strand to England’s fabric.
Rather, Englishness is emboldened to grow anew.
The truth is that an all-embracing England — confident and hopeful in its own identity — is something to celebrate

The French government today vowed to clear Calais of the shanty town of illegal immigrants waiting to cross to the UK.
Immigration minister Eric Besson told the town's business leaders he would order the removal of a squatter camp which evolved after the closure of a French Red Cross reception centre at nearby Sangatte more than six years ago.
And he challenged the UK authorities to share responsibility for solving the problem.
Mr Besson urged the UK to sign up to an agreement making Calais a passport free zone - so they can get rid of thousands of illegal migrants
It would mean that all could get straight across the Channel without official papers to the welfare benefits available in their British ‘Eldorado’.
Exasperated by the sight of the migrants sleeping rough as they try and board Dover-bound trains and lorries illegally, Calais mayor Natacha Bouchard outlined the scheme to Immigration Minister Eric Besson.
‘It’s necessary to speed up negotiations with the British because at the moment we’re ready to charter a boat to dump them over there,’ said Mrs Bouchard.
She said all that Britain had to do was sign up to the Schengen agreement, which allows anybody to travel between designated European Union states – including France - without passports or visas.
Mrs Bouchard also welcomed a scheme to bring in the Army to destroy a notorious shanty town next to Calais port called ‘The Jungle’ where a London journalism student was raped last year.
Both politicians – who are tough talking members of the ruling UMP party - were taking part in a crunch meeting aimed at ‘cleaning up’ a problem firmly blamed on Britain’s benefits culture.
The French believe it encourages foreigners from all over the world to use their country as a base to get to the UK, where they will receive generous welfare payments as asylum seekers or else disappear into the black economy.
While Mr Besson favours the use of military force to tear down the squatter camps, he knows that removing passport controls from Calais would cause outrage on the other side of the Channel.
Instead he would prefer to see a series of ‘mini’ welcome centres set up along the French coast, offering food, showers, and information about how to claim asylum.
The Minister denies emphatically that they will be like the Red Cross Centre at Sangatte which acted as a magnet to thousands of migrants to the UK before being shut down as part of an Anglo-French agreement in 2002.
If the UK did sign up to Schengen, then all of the Calais migrants could flock to Dover unchallenged – meaning France’s problem would immediately become a British one.

The Archbishop of York has branded suggestions by the British National Party that a "bloodless genocide" is taking place in Britain as "beyond belief".
Nick Griffin, BNP chairman, spoke to the BBC to defend a party leaflet that said black and Asian Britons "do not exist", arguing that calling such people British denied indigenous people their own identity.
But Dr John Sentamu, who was born in Uganda and is a vocal supporter of making St George's Day a public holiday to promote English unity, said it was not up to the BNP to define Englishness.
He said: "You don't have to be a member of the BNP to be clearly English, and it is quite a mistake to suggest that everybody who wants to affirm Englishness affirms that narrow thinking. This 'bloodless genocide'? I think that is just language which is beyond belief."
Mr Griffin spoke to the Report on Radio 4 to defend the party's Language and Concepts Discipline Manual, which says the term used for black and Asian British people should be "racial foreigners".
The leaflet was leaked to an anti-fascist group and seen by the BBC.
Commenting on its content, Mr Griffin told the BBC that although "in civic terms they are British, British also has a meaning as an ethnic description. These people are 'black residents' of the UK etc, and are no more British than an Englishman living in Hong Kong is Chinese," he said.
The manual describes the BNP's "ultimate aim" as the "lawful, humane and voluntary repatriation of the resident foreigners of the UK".
"We don't subscribe to the politically correct fiction that just because they happen to be born in Britain, a Pakistani is a Briton. They're not. They remain of Pakistani stock," he added.
"You can't say that especially large numbers of people can come from the rest of the world and assume an English identity without denying the English their own identity, and I would say that's wrong. In a very subtle way, it's a sort of bloodless genocide."

The United Kingdom has declared that it will revise surveillance laws in bid to rid the existing regulations that violates personal privacy.
The announcement came on Friday following high concerns over recent cases in which local authority officials took advantage of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) to stealthily pry on people's 'trivial' affairs.
Under the current RIPA decrees, local ruling bodies are sanctioned to monitor "littering, dog fouling, parking rules or even parents' efforts to bend residency rules to get their children into better schools."
The Home Office is due to make adjustments to the surveillance regulations informally known as the "snoopers' charter" in order to make clear what authority is entitled to spy on all offences.
"The government has absolutely no interest in spying on law-abiding people going about their everyday lives," British media quoted the Home Secretary Jacqui Smith as saying.
"I don't want to see these powers being used to target people for putting their bins out on the wrong day or for dog fouling offences," she added.
Chris Grayling, the Shadow Home Secretary, also said that "the government has allowed RIPA to become a snooper's charter. It was supposed to be there to tackle terrorism and serious crime. Instead it's being used by both the government and hundreds of local authorities to pry into all kinds of different parts of people's lives. It has to stop."

THE UK will have to build one house every six minutes, day and night, seven days a week for the next 20 years to meet the current scale of immigration, an MP warned today.
Labour MP and former Minister Frank Field said that immigration will account for 70 per cent of population growth in the next 20 years.
That is seven million - or seven times the population of Birmingham.
In 2007, immigrants were arriving at the rate of almost one every minute.
Mr Field, MP for Birkenhead said “For many years, probably a generation, immigration has been a no-go area to British politics.
"'Racist’, ’Little Englander’, ’xenophobe’ - those who have raised the subject have been insulted, abused and, all too often, silenced.”
Mr Field went on: “The beneficiaries of this have been the extremists, lurking in the wings, eager to piggyback on the public’s concern for their own despicable ends.
“The losers have been the citizens of this country, those with the longest roots and those who have newly arrived.”
He said that over the last few years immigration had reached unprecedented levels. “Net migration - the number of people coming to the UK minus the people leaving - has more than quadrupled since 1997.
In 2007, 502,000 migrants arrived in the UK - almost one every minute, Mr Field said.
“Our population is officially projected to reach 70 million by 2028 and 80 million in mid-century, with immigration the main driver and the only one that the government can directly influence.
“It accounts for 70 per cent of population growth in the next 20 years: that is seven million, or seven times the population of Birmingham.”
Mr Field said that these projections were based on the Government’s own net immigration assumptions.

“But cold statistics do not paint the whole picture. Delve beneath ’seven new Birminghams’ and we see that in the next 20 years, one third of projected household formations will be a result of immigration, meaning we will need to build 260 houses a day for the next 20 years to meet the requirement - that is one house every six minutes, day and night, seven days a week.”
And he warned: “If the Government does not adopt the policy of balanced migration, or something close to it, our population is set to rise to a level to which the vast majority of people are strongly opposed.
“They are not opposed to immigration or immigrants, but to the present scale of immigration which is bound to have a negative aspect on many aspect of life in Britain, be that the public services, infrastructure, environment, or community cohesion. In other words our whole quality of life.”

'What makes you think it's natural to be heterosexual?': Christian teacher suspended over gay rights promotion row
A senior teacher has been suspended from his £50,000-a-year job after he complained that a training day for staff was used to promote gay rights.
Kwabena Peat, 54, was one of several Christian staff who walked out of the compulsory session at a North London school after an invited speaker questioned why people thought heterosexuality was natural.
The presentation was given by Sue Sanders, a co-founder of the Schools Out organisation which campaigns for gay equality in education.

According to Mr Peat, Ms Sanders, herself a lesbian, said that staff who did not accept that being gay was normal had ‘issues’ they had to deal with.
Mr Peat, a history teacher who is also a head of year, said he was upset that people who disagreed on religious grounds had no chance to respond.
He wrote privately to the three staff members who organised the session, complaining about Ms Sanders’ ‘aggressive’ presentation. In his letter, he cited the Bible and warned that practising homosexuals risked God’s ‘wrath’.
But the staff complained to the school’s principal that they felt ‘harassed and intimidated’ by the letter and, after an investigation, Mr Peat was placed on paid leave. He is now being supported by the Christian Legal Centre.
‘I am very disappointed, although not shocked,’ the married father of three said last night. ‘I am the one who has been harassed and intimidated – for expressing my religious views.’
Mr Peat, who has spent most of his career teaching in inner-city London schools, joined Park View Academy, a large secondary comprehensive in Tottenham, three years ago. He said he was very supportive of ‘equality and diversity’ programmes.
The row erupted in January when the school held an In-Service Education and Training (Inset) day, during which staff were required to attend a session on child protection issues.
Ms Sanders, 62, founded the voluntary organisation Schools Out in 1974. However, the £850 training session was organised by Chrysalis, a training team that specialises in diversity issues.
Mr Peat said he had expected her merely to provide information to help teachers handle homophobic bullying, but she had gone much further.
‘She started promoting homosexual lifestyles and suggesting those who had objections should sort out their prejudices. She said, “What makes you all think that to be heterosexual is natural?” It was at that point I walked out.’
In a statement last night, headteacher Alex Atherton said: ‘An allegation of intimidation and harassment is currently being investigated.’
Ms Sanders said her training sessions were designed to ‘raise awareness’.

A failed asylum seeker who left a young girl dying under the wheels of his car after a hit-and-run accident has been freed to the disgust of her family.
Aso Mohammed Ibrahim was due to be deported after his applications for asylum and citizenship were kicked out.
But the 31-year-old Iraqi Kurd has been released on bail from custody while he makes yet another appeal to stay in the UK. He says it is too dangerous for him to return to his homeland.
The father of 12-year-old Amy Houston, who was mowed down by Ibrahim's Rover car as she went to the shops more than five years ago, has spoken of his outrage.
Paul Houston, 39, an engineer, said: 'It's an insult to my daughter. I walk around the street and I'm looking over my shoulder every two minutes thinking, "Am I going to see this bloke?"
'How many more appeals does he get? It is my duty as a father to see this through to the end.
'If I didn't fight then another person would find themselves in this position and I don't want anybody else's kid to get killed. He's just laughing at the British justice system. It is so wrong.'
Weeks before the fatal accident, Ibrahim, who was living in Blackburn, had been banned for nine months for driving while disqualified, without insurance and without a licence. He has never held one.

'Extraordinary' £1m Salary of the Man We Pay to Fight Poverty
'The head of a Government-owned firm set up to eliminate world poverty has been criticised after earning almost £1million in a year. MPs yesterday attacked the 'extraordinary' salary of Richard Laing, the chief executive of the former Commonwealth Development Corporation now known as CDC. He took £970,000 in pay and bonuses in 2007, while other senior executives earned an average of £435,000.
CDC, which is wholly owned by the Department For International Development, uses private equity funds to plough money into poorer countries, mainly in Africa and Asia. But MPs on the public accounts committee said there was only 'limited evidence' that CDC had made any impact on reducing Third World poverty.'

Just when one thinks one has heard the worst madness possible for the European Union, another more ridiculous issue comes to the fore. The insane “rules” by which British elections are held means that Nigerian citizens who have Nigerian nationality and who are currently living in Nigeria, will be able to vote in all elections in Britain and the Euro elections in particular — by proxy, without leaving their homes in Africa.
The madness was revealed in an article in the Daily Independent newspaper in Lagos, Nigeria, where the leader of a political party called the “Christian Party” announced that it was setting up registration centres in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, where prospective voters can fill all necessary forms and have them mailed free of charge to the electoral commission in the United Kingdom.
The “Christian Party” called on Nigerian voters to support the party as part of its “efforts at righting some of the perceived wrongs in the British society.”
The Christian Party, also called “Scottish Christian Party” and “Welsh Christian Party”, is a “Christian Rights” political organisation in Great Britain, headed by the Reverend George Hargreaves, who claims to be the first Afro-Caribbean leader of a British political party.
Mr Hargreaves told a press conference in Lagos that his party plans to build a voting bloc among “British Nigerians and other Africans.”
He addressed the media alongside Abraham Usikaro, a one-time Nigerian journalist and the party’s International Campaign Manager. Mr Hargreaves said any Nigerian who had lived in Britain for ten years was eligible to vote, provided he registers with the Electoral Commission before May 10.
The Daily Independent said that Mr Hargreaves’s party was fielding “70 candidates in London, Scotland, and Whales [sic] for the EU poll.”
Mr Hargreaves said it was time Africans vote in Britain’s election “for better bargaining power in its politics,” telling his supporters that “registration form can also be downloaded from the electoral commission’s website.”
According to the Daily Independent, Mr Hargreaves added that his “party is ready to open another registration centre elsewhere, on request from interested persons or communities, arguing that whatever votes is given the party is for Jesus and uprightness of the society.
“According to him, the party, if elected, would fight against the British culture that denies parents the right to discipline their wards, and empowers the social service workers to take possession of such children. Insisting that this practice is a racist policy targeted at Africans, Hargreaves identified it as major cause of delinquency among the adolescent and ungodly behaviours in British society,” all according to the Daily Independent.

David Miliband sent out a Ramadan message but prepared nothing for Christmas
Foreign office mandarins have begun a consultation on whether to mark Christmas.
They have ordered a review into which religious festivals should be the subject of special greetings from the Foreign Secretary.
It follows complaints from staff that David Miliband sent out a Ramadan message to Embassy staff around the world, but neglected to prepare one for Christmas Day or Easter.
Mr Miliband has also been accused of ignoring St George's Day, while giving Scotland's First Minister, Alex Salmond, 'plenty of FCO airspace' to wish Scots a Happy St Andrew's Day.
Embassy staff are now being asked to nominate occasions which should be celebrated, to avoid upsetting different faiths and nationalities.
The FCO sends out statements to mark Ramadan, the Muslim festival of fasting, and Jewish New Year.
But Mr Miliband, who once revealed he did not believe in God, has never sent his own Christmas tidings, to the fury of some staff.
In an internal newsletter called News and Views, Mark Thomas, who works in staff policy, complained: 'It was depressingly predictable that the Foreign Secretary found the time to deliver a special Ramadan message after scoring misses at Christmas, Easter and any other number of occasions when different faiths celebrate special festivals or periods throughout the calendar year.
'The decision to afford Alex Salmond plenty of FCO airspace to wish Scots a Happy St Andrew's Day, while neglecting David, Patrick and George - and not for the first time - was equally disturbing.'
In response, Nicola Bowles, FCO head of corporate communications wrote: 'As you say, the current system for celebrating British (and FCO) diversity with messages from the Foreign Secretary and others on significant dates could maybe be improved.
'We are now consulting with private offices, stakeholder managers and the diversity strategy unit to draw up guidelines that strike the right balance.
'The aim is to find a way to celebrate our diversity - and offer reassurances to groups who may feel marginalised - without falling into the trap of diminishing impact (or indeed overloading our communications system) through an unnecessary plethora of messages.'
The move comes a month after a report from Human Resources consultancy-Couraud said the Foreign Office was sinking into 'stagnation and decay' because of political correctness.

BELEN, BRAZIL, April 30, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Brazilian President Luiz Lula is promising homosexual leaders that he will continue to seek to criminalize speech that is critical of homosexuality.
In a written address delivered to the Third Congress of the Brazilian Association of Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transvestites, and Transsexuals (ABGLT), Lula denounced groups, most of them Christian, who have objected to plans to outlaw such speech, calling them "hypocrites."
"Some backward as well as hypocritical sectors ... have criticized our government for supporting initiatives that criminalize words or acts that are offensive to homosexuality," he wrote. "That has no importance. I will continue, with the support of the entire government, to maintain that attitude."
As LifeSiteNews has reported in the past, Lula has for several years sought to pass a "homophobia law" that would make it a crime to criticize homosexual behavior.
Although he has failed to achieve his goal as of yet, in many cases Brazilian courts already enforce existing laws as if they prohibit such speech. Religious groups and individuals have been censored and fined for criticizing homosexual behavior, including one organization whose pro-family campaign was canceled by court order.
Julio Severo, one of Brazil's most famous pro-life and pro-family activists, fled the country recently after investigators sought his address following a complaint of "homophobia" lodged against him. At the same conference, Brazil's most influential homosexual leader, Luiz Mott, called on homosexuals to kill attackers in "legitimate defense" according to the homosexual website A Capa.
Citing statistics indicating an increase in the number of murders of homosexuals over the previous year, Mott stated that "if in the next poll this number increases, we must radicalize. And for that purpose we are going to have a campaign where we say 'Kill in legitimate defense, protect yourself."
Although Mott's organization, the Gay Association of Bahia, claims that "homophobic" murders are high, its counts define all murders of all homosexuals as acts of "homophobia," even when they involve male prostitutes apparently killed by a john.
Moreover, the total murder rate for homosexuals documented by Mott is significantly lower than the overall murder rate, per capita, in Brazil, as LifeSiteNews has previously reported. While the overall rate is 28 per 100,000 people, the rate of murders of homosexuals in Brazil is 1.31 per 100,000, according to Mott's statistics.
Homosexualist leaders reacted with alarm to Mott's statements, according to A Capa.
Caio Varela, an advisor to Brazilian Senator Fatima Cleide, complained that "he doesn't understand that tomorrow some queer out there at the end of the world might read that in some site or publication and commit a crime."

LINKS between Government and the banking sector have been condemned in a new report that has uncovered the extent of the "old boys network" at the top of British public life.
Britain has a greater culture of cronyism than Europe or the US, according to the study, which identified key individuals who have moved jobs between politics, financial institutions and the bodies charged with regulating the banking industry.
TheADVERTISEMENTreport warns the close relations between business and politics "lead to a conflict of interest at best and a suspension of critical faculties at worst".
The study of 116 of the world's most successful companies will be presented to a Global Forum on Public Governance, run by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), in Paris this week.
The research looked at so-called "revolving door connections", when a company employs former or current politicians, civil servants or members of regulatory bodies, or where individuals move from the financial sector into politics, Government or regulatory bodies.
Barclays was the most connected British-based company with 14 revolving door connections.
Two of the Barclays examples were Mark Clarke and Sarah Cox. Clarke is director general of finance at the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform, but worked at Barclays from 2000 to 2003. Cox was an international consultant at Barclays from 2001 to 2004 and has since joined the UK Cabinet Office's business support group.
"The Government and the political classes have very close links to the banking industry," said the report's author David Miller, a Professor of Sociology at Strathclyde University, who specialises in researching lobbying.
"I believe this could be one of the factors behind the disaster that has befallen the financial markets. There has not been enough regulation of these connections.
"
The organisations with more than five revolving door connections were Royal Bank of Scotland, HBOS/Lloyds Group, Barclays, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Dexia Group, HSBC Holdings, JP Morgan Chase and Co, Standard Chartered Bank and UBS.
Six individuals with RBS connections included Quentin Davies, Labour MP and a minister at the Ministry of Defence, who was an RBS adviser until 2003, and Sir Philip Hampton, RBS's chairman, former chief executive of the Government-owned UK Financial Investments.
Perhaps the best known person with HBOS connections named in the report is Sir James Crosby, who was chief executive of the bank from 2001 to 2006 before leaving to become deputy chairman of the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the UK body responsible for regulating the financial sector.
Crosby resigned from the FSA after claims by the whistleblower Paul Moore, the former head of risk at HBOS, that he mismanaged the bank.
Three revolving door connections were identified at Standard Life, including Gerry Grimstone, the chairman of the board who was appointed as one of the UK's Business Ambassadors in January.
Paul Flynn, Labour MP and member of Westminster's Public Administration Select Committee, said:
"Coziness is the enemy of efficiency and coziness leads to a lazy brainedness and a lack of thinking and inventiveness."
A Barclays spokesman said: "Barclays recruits people on the basis of their skills and experience, whether as full-time staff, as non-executive directors or as part-time advisers.
"Where they may have held senior roles in the public sector, their recruitment is undertaken in line with governmental and civil service governance policies."
A spokeswoman for Scottish Financial Enterprise, the body that represents the Scottish financial services industry, said: "From our point of view, the greater the understanding between business and the public sector the better."
A Standard Life spokesman said: "It's important that any board has a wide variety of backgrounds and experience, which is what we have at Standard Life."
RBS and HBOS declined to comment.

THE FORMER head of a collapsed racial equality council appeared before Huddersfield Magistrates yesterday charged with fraud.
Carl Hayes, the former chief executive of folded Kirklees Equality and Human Right Organisation (KEHRA), is accused of obtaining services by deception on October 24 2006.
Hayes, 39, of Durkar, Wakefield, is accused of submitting a false application to a recruitment agency and Kirklees Racial Equality Council which became KEHRA. He was bailed to appear before at Huddersfield magistrates on June 11 for committal to the crown court.
KEHRA folded in September after Kirklees Council withdrew its £100,000-a-year funding for the organisation. At its time of closing KEHRA had about 500 members and was dealing with 150 immigration and 70 racial harassment cases.
Kirklees Racial Equality Council, which was relaunched as KEHRA in July, ran projects including Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges, a scheme to promote harmony among young people from diverse ethnic backgrounds.

The Rt Rev Patrick Lynch, auxiliary bishop of Southwark, said the Catholic Church in England and Wales had a long tradition of "standing in solidarity" with workers, especially migrant workers, and he prayed that migrants would not be made "scapegoats" during the economic downturn.
"My first prayer today is that during a time of recession when there will inevitably be job shortages, we as the church will do all we can not to allow migrant workers from within or outside the European Union to become scapegoats and targets of people's frustration with the economy," he told a Mass for migrant workers held at Westminster Cathedral, in central London.
The Mass was being held along with a series of other church services as part of the Strangers into Citizens day of action calling for an estimated 450,000 long-term illegal immigrants to be allowed to become citizens under a one-off "earned amnesty".
To qualify for the proposed measure, illegal immigrants would have to fulfil conditions including residence of at least four years, followed by a two-year "pathway" period, a clean criminal record, good English and character references.
In his sermon, Bishop Lynch said there was a "clear moral case" that undocumented workers who have lived and worked in this country for five years or more should be given the opportunity to build a future in the United Kingdom and continue to contribute to British society.
"You have worked here - your children have been born here and attend school here - you are part of our parishes and our society here and a way should be found so that you can remain here," he told the congregation of different nationalities, some of them in colourful national dress.
In a separate Anglican service held at St Margaret's Church, Westminster Abbey, the Bishop of Southwark, the Rt Rev Tom Butler, backed the Strangers into Citizens campaign.
"What is being called for is no idealistic or wild-eyed demand that all barriers should go down. It is simply recognising that those who have been here for four years or more should be given the opportunity to show that they can be productive and useful citizens," he said.
"It is a call to bring hundreds of thousands of irregular migrants out of the shadows and after a two year probation period give them leave to remain."

A SHEFFIELD shopkeeper has called in the police after he was handed a coin covered with a BNP sticker.
Zahid Ahmed, aged 39, who runs DJ's News in Crookes, said he was shocked to receive the coin and believes it was deliberately given to him as a racist gesture by a supporter of the British National Party.
The married father-of-two, who is originally from Pakistan and has run his business since December, said he did not notice who gave him the coin but it was handed over last Sunday morning.
"When I spotted it I could not believe it - I was shocked and upset to think that somebody would come into my shop and give it to me," he said.
"The BNP only accept white people, so this could be the party's way of spreading their message but Britain is a multi-cultural society.
"I have lived here since 1997 and have always worked – I have never claimed benefits in my life. I am contributing to society and do not expect to be treated like this - it is disappointing.
"The police say they have not had any other reports like this but if anybody out there has received a coin like this they need to come forward so that the police can get to the bottom of it.
"I see this as a form of racial abuse."
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the incident was being treated as a one-off.
She said: "Officers have attended at the address of the complainant. After speaking to the shopkeeper, police do not believe the £1 coin with the BNP sticker covering the back of the coin, was directly targeted at the shopkeeper.
"Police currently believe this to be a one off incident, as no other similar incidents have been reported."

The Labour peer accused of claiming £100,000 in parliamentary allowances on a vacant flat is a social housing tenant, it has been revealed.
Baroness Uddin, Britain's first female Muslim peer, faces a possible police investigation for fraud over allegations she claimed the money by saying the flat was her 'main home'.
Five neighbours have said that bedrooms in the property in Maidstone, Kent, were unfurnished and they had never seen anyone living there since it was bought in 2005.
The Baroness's main home, where she is registered to vote and where she has been registered as a company director, is a housing association property, the Evening Standard reported today.
Peter Golds, Tory opposition leader in Tower Hamlets where the baroness lives, said: 'This borough has some of the most desperate housing need in Britain.
'I think the 20,000 people on the council's waiting list would be interested to know what a prosperous Labour peer who can afford a property in Kent is doing in social housing.'
The three-bedroom house, built in the early 1990s, is in Wapping. A plaque on the side of a neighbouring property says it and Lady Uddin's house belong to Spitalfields Housing Assocation.
The association received a public subsidy of £37.8million last year and charges £104 rent a week on an average property.
Despite her allowances from the Lords, Baroness Uddin, 49, is comfortably above the income bracket to qualify for social housing.
She has held several directorships at major companies, including former ITV producer Carlton Television, and was a senior employee and parliamentary consultant for the Excelcare nursing home group.
Currently she holds two jobs, one at the Home Office and the other with the philanthropic wing of insurance giant Zurich.

Because Lady Uddin claims her main residence is outside London, she is entitled to collect up to £174 in accommodation costs for every day she attends the House of Lords.
The amount is paid to peers without the need to produce receipts and many claim the maximum every day they attend.
Baroness Uddin claimed £29,675 for accommodation in 2007/8, a claim of 179 days at the maximum daily rate of £165 a day - more days than the Lords actually sat that year.
It is unknown how much she pays in rent on her Wapping property.
Mr Golds added: 'Whatever rent Lady Uddin pays, she is depriving a low-income family of a home which was built for the needy at public expense.
'She has a great deal of explaining to do.'
Baroness Uddin was today unavailable for comment.
On Friday, she issued a statement through solicitors saying: 'The Wapping house is rented, while I own the property in Maidstone.
'I do not believe that I have done anything wrong or breached any House of Lords rules.

Children as young as seven are being recruited by councils to act as 'citizen snoopers', the Daily Mail can reveal.
The 'environment volunteers' will report on litter louts, noisy neighbours - and even families putting their rubbish out on the wrong day.
There are currently almost 9,000 people signed up to the schemes. More are likely to be recruited in the coming months.
Controversially, some councils are running 'junior' schemes which are recruiting children.

After basic training, volunteers are expected to be the 'eyes and the ears' of the town hall.
They are given information packs about how to collect evidence, including tips about writing down numberplates, which could later be used in criminal prosecutions.
Luton Borough Council's Street Seen scheme encourages its 650 volunteers to report 'environmental concerns'. It is also recruiting 'Junior Street Champions', aged between seven and 11.
Primary schools could also be involved within two years.
Similarly, Islington Council in north London has recruited 1,200 'Islington Eyes' to report crime hotspots, fly-tipping and excess noise from DIY.
Volunteers are given a list of things to do when confronted with fly-tippers, including taking photos 'without being seen'.
Last year the council undertook a recruitment drive for youngsters aged nine and above, called Junior Eyes.
Children are given special books to write down reports on littering or graffiti in their schools, which they then send to the council.
A spokesman for Islington town hall said: 'It's not possible for the council to see what's going on in the borough at all times, so our Eyes for Islington are a great help, reporting issues such as dangerous footpaths, fly-tipping and graffiti.'
Welwyn Hatfield Council in Hertfordshire has given its 13 volunteers handheld computers to take photographs of problem areas.
The information is then uploaded to a map of trouble spots.
Overall, a total of 8,442 volunteers have signed up at 17 councils in England. Other councils are set to follow their example and set up their own networks of volunteers.
They say the scheme helps them find out about problems which they might not know about otherwise. But critics are worried the schemes could easily be abused and encourage a 'Big Brother society'.
The move comes as local authorities dish out £100 fines to householders who leave out too much rubbish or fail to follow recycling rules.

Two British National Party election advertisement billboards in different parts of the country came under threat from mobs of Islamists this afternoon. One billboard was covered up after the mob intimidated the police by threatening to attack.
The first sign of trouble came in the West Midlands where an Islamist mob emerged from a local mosque after Friday prayers - where they had possibly been stirred up during the sermon - and threatened a BNP billboard advertising ‘British jobs for British workers,’ according to BNP press officer Simon Darby.
“The police were called in to protect the billboard, which they did, despite the mob taunting them, threatening Jihad and shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ and other such militant Islamist slogans,” Mr Darby said.
“The outbreak of militancy appears to have been coordinated, because at almost the same time, a BNP advertising billboard in Luton was surrounded by a similar mob. They were also shouting Islamist slogans and carrying items which were clearly intended to be used to set fire to it,” he continued.
“The billboards do not even mention Islam or Islamism, and merely call for British people to be given jobs, so the cause of the Islamist militancy obviously lies elsewhere,” he said.
According to Mr Darby, the local police in Luton then ordered that the billboard be covered up “for public safety.”
“In other words, mobs can threaten violence in the street and instead of being arrested, the police and authorities cower down and submit to whatever these mobs want,” Mr Darby said.
“Forcing the BNP to cover up its billboard underlines the fact that Britain is being colonised by Islam and that this is leading to the suppression of democracy.
“This is what the immigration policies of successive Tory and Labour governments have created: A situation where a violent mob of Islamists can dictate to the public which party they have a right to hear.”
Mr Darby said the BNP was not going to be intimidated into backing down. “We have too much at stake,” he said. “We are the only party which opposes the Islamification of Britain and we will not be put off by threats of violence from these people.
“The BNP will never stop until it has reclaimed this land for its indigenous people, so those who seek to destroy Britain had better accept this or leave.”

Now Drinkers Must Wait in 'Post office-style' Queues at Their Local Pub
'Drinkers in pubs are to be told to stand in a queue and banned from ordering more than two drinks at a time at the bar. Rope barriers similar to those used in shops and post offices will be installed to keep customers in line. The plan has been proposed following concern over disorder and violence in a town centre's bars.
The two-drink limit is intended to curb binge-drinking and stop customers ordering large amounts of alcohol. In addition, customers would not be allowed to drink while queuing. But critics say the 'nanny state' restrictions will end the convivial British tradition of drinkers buying rounds for their friends.
Under plans drawn up by Liberal Democrat-controlled Oldham Council, all 22 pubs in the town centre will have to comply with the new rules. The 2003 Licensing Act allows police and trading standards officers to apply for variations in a pub licence if there is concern about drink-related violence and disorder.'

On Friday the servers of Clear Channel, part of a huge conglomerate that provides billboard advertising, suffered a similar attack. Their IT professionals tracked the criminal activity back to a notorious "anti-fascist" organisation openly aligned to the Labour Party and supported by the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats. This organisation was protesting at the decision by Clear Channel to allow the BNP to display advertising in support of our European Election Campaign.
As a consequence of the criminal actions against Clear Channel we understand that their legal team is currently in the process of issuing writs against the perpetrators which as well as civil actions will involve the possibility of potential criminal charges including racketeering.

How politics drives on the agenda
When it comes to tricking the people, British (two party) democracy is one clever system; which is precisely what we would expect when we consider how long it has been around for.
Do you know what is so clever about it?
It pretends to pit one side against the other when really it exists solely to ensure the perpetuation of both for as long as the agenda needs them.
The only way ‘democracy’ can survive in its British format is to have two apparently opposing sides; the remainder of the parties just ‘making up the numbers’.
Here is a little known fact: It matters not which side is actually in power; the party in ‘opposition’ dictates government decision-making, and vice versa. But the decisions made always serve the agenda, the ultimate goal of which is world government (which has nothing to do with Britain per se). So we can conclude that the Conservatives and Labour are on the same side.
If we look at the current situation, we see Labour is nearing the end of its governmental reign. This being so, whatever the Tories say happens to have more credence in the political arena.
As we are about to find out, the Tories can even criticise Labour policy (based on a lie) and make it look as if it only goes halfway towards dealing with the ‘problem’ (a lie in the first place).
When it comes to tricking the people, British democracy is one clever system.
