Let's Give Griffin a chance and see what he can do as an MEP. I'll never again be a Griffin fan but he deserves this chance to redeem himself.
Also there is no doubt, what so ever, that he is the most Charismatic politician of any party in the country today. His TV interviews last night were superb! Darby just isn't leadership material I'm afraid. Like it or not Nick Griffin is now the undisputed leader of the BNP, and the rest of us will just have to live with that and get on with the job of moving the party forward.

I see this result as taking the party to a new level in politics, and a fresh start for the leadership. I'll never again be Griffin's biggest fan, but we must all put our petty squabbles aside and work to drive the party forward now. This is a new beginning for us all, and a chance for Griffin to show what he can really do for the British people.
I will always regret the loss of: Sadie, Ian, and the rest of those unjustly expelled in December 2007, but now we must move on.

I'm not back with my tail between my legs, as you put it, simply because I've never been away.
I'm certainly not Griffin's biggest fan, but he is now totally unmovable from his chairmanship. The only chose now is move to UKIP or stay with the BNP. UKIP is not a valid option simply because it’s a media party without a grassroots membership base, so staying with the BNP is the only option.
The plus side to all this is that now Griffin is undoubtedly totally in control of the party now, so he may well allow it to grow because an expanded membership will no longer threaten his position. Also his charismatic personality has been a massive publicity coup on TV.
But remember under Griffin's leadership our total vote in the NW has dropped in the last 5 years, although the percentage did go up slightly. The base line is there is only the BNP, and we are on an up at the moment so let's see where we can go now. I'll always be disgusted by the way Sadie & co were treated by Griffin, but I'm not going to allow that to prevent my helping the party move forward.

A village vicar has been sacked after he admitted sending a series of sexually explicit text messages to a teenage parishioner.
Reverend David Waters, 61, targeted the schoolgirl with the messages which he sent to her mobile phone, a tribunal has heard.
Rev Waters, rector of St Catwgs Church in Gelligaer, South Wales, admitted that he sent text messages of an 'unseemly, sexual and intimate' nature to the girl during a crisis of faith.

Britain’s prime minister has put a notorious pro-Israel lobbyist in charge of policy in the Middle East, Iraq and Iran, reaffirming his determination to continue with his Zionist policies even as his administration approaches the end of its life.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has appointed an Israeli agent of influence and proponent of genocide in Gaza to a key position at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Britain’s foreign ministry.
On 9 June, Ivan Lewis was given a major promotion in Mr Brown’s government when he was appointed Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office with responsibility for Middle East policy, Iraq, Iran, counterterrorism and Anglo-American relations. According to one source, he is now “just one step away from the cabinet”.
Speaking after his promotion, Mr Lewis said: “My responsibility for the Middle East peace process is particularly poignant. I have never hidden my pride at being Jewish or my support for the State of Israel”.
According to the Independent newspaper, Mr Lewis’s appointment has “raised eyebrows in the Foreign Office”. It said:
Lewis has a long history of interest in the region as vice-chair of the Labour Friends of Israel. Critics can't help but wonder how objective Lewis is likely to be in his new post.

Those linking to sites that deny climate change, I take much more seriously. That delusion could well result in a catastrophe that could eliminate most intelligent life on Earth. Vicar on 'sham marriages' charge
Mr Brown was remanded in custody until a court hearing on Thursday
A vicar is one of two men charged following an inquiry into allegations of "sham marriages" in East Sussex.
Rev Alex Brown, 60, the vicar at St Peter and St Paul Church in St Leonards, and Bladymar Buckak, 32, were arrested on Tuesday.
The UK Border Agency joint immigration crime team charged them with conspiring to facilitate unlawful entry to the UK.
Mr Brown, of Blomfield Road, was also charged with solemnising a church marriage without banns being published.
They will appear at Hastings Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Mr Buckak, of Angelsea Terrace, was charged with one count of conspiring to facilitate unlawful entry and carrying out an act tending and intended to pervert the course of justice.
He was charged with one count of using a false document.
Another man and woman have been bailed pending further inquiries.
A spokesman for the Chichester diocese said the vicar had been suspended from his duties pending the outcome of the investigation
