Richard Barnbrook, London Assembly member.

Preston & Lancaster Voice of Change says: 'Well done Richard Barnbrook, and Well done London BNP.'

Lions lead by fools, are still lions!

Mugabe, Brown, & Griffin: just three of a kind!

(Rejected newspaper advert, shown above)

Yesterday, just 3 hours before the paper’s submission deadline, the editor of a local Wigan newspaper phoned Dr Charles Mather (Chairman of the Wigan BNP branch) and informed him that he was rejecting a BNP election advert (which had been both accepted and paid for a week previously), on the grounds that it mentioned the Tibetan’s struggle for independence and also because it criticised other parties standing in the election. Of course this was merely a poorly put together hotchpotch of an excuse, who has ever heard of a party not being allowed to mention events in another country, or being stopped from criticising its political opponents? Or rather I should ask: ‘who has heard of such things in a democratic country’.

I'm also afraid the mass media simply won’t take the story up as it won't win them any brownie points with their political masters. Democracy in Britain is a sham, in fact the only real difference between Mugabe's Rhodesia, Brown's UK, and Griffin's BNP is that Mugabe leads the way in coming up with new ideas to fix elections, while the other two only follow.

I just wonder how long it will be, (given that: police, prison officers and senior civil servants are not allowed to be BNP members) before people in certain jobs are given special voting papers that have the BNP's box blacked out so they can't vote for us. Sounds far fetched I know, but so would the ban on these people joining a perfectly legal political party 30 years ago.

Another incident I learned about just a few days ago, also shows that the grassroots BNP members should not become complacent about the struggle for democracy within our own party. Steve Thompson (Ex Aberdeen organiser) has had a block put on his membership renewal, simply because of his support for democratic constitutional change. Now I've only met the man once (Blackpool conference last Nov), but he seemed a very genuine guy who has stood for the party in local council elections last year. Griffin's purge of good people is still going on!

All in all we really do live in fascist times, don't we?

Chris Hill

Lancaster says 'good luck to the BNP six'.

Six good and honest BNP members, under suspension since last December’s purge by the dictator Griffin, are today appearing at Manchester Crown court (Civil division) to answer a court summons brought by the Griffin/Collett gang.
.
The allegations of wrong doing made against the six are of course totally ridicules and one has to wonder who thought them up, and when. As to who, we can be pretty sure that Nick Griffin and Lee Barnes are behind this spiteful action against people whose only crime was to bring to the attention of the membership the chaos being caused by Mark. Considering the question of when and where they thought it up, we can only speculate. Griffin may have had the idea while sitting in the extension to his home, which was paid for from party funds. Or it may well have been made by Barnes while he, and the rest of the Griffin/Collett gang, were on that now infamous Spanish holiday last month, which once again was paid for out of the party's funds.
.
Spiteful vengeance and financial mismanagement are just two of the many good reasons to replace the dictator Griffin, and the small group of 'yes men' he has acquired around him, in a democratic leadership election this June.
.
As for this morning’s case we can only say: Good luck to the BNP six: Cllr Sadie Graham, Ian Dawson, Kenny & Nicholla Smith, Steve Blake, & Matt Single.

Free speech proscribed by the Griffin/Collett gang.

The latest ‘official’ BNP bulletin proscribes both the EiE blog and VoC web site. The bulletin then goes on to make veiled threats against members who use their right of free speech to post on either site, describing supporters of the VOC movement as leftwing troublemakers & neo-Nazis. The two characters pictured above, Mark Collett and Nick Griffin, made a big point just a year or so back about their right to freedom of speech, now it appears they think that freespeech should be limited to people who agree with them.

There is in fact a case for prescribing a very limited number of web sites, one good example of which is a nasty little site called Redwatch. Redwatch publishes photos of little old ladies protesting against American military bases, and students demonstrating against road widening schemes. Therefore that site is quite rightly proscribed, not to limit freedom of speech, but to protect innocent people from the threat of violence.

However this new proscription against the EiE blog, and the VOC web site, is nothing more than a very crude attempt to intimidate members into toeing the line. But it also clearly demonstrates how desperate the corrupt Griffin/Collett gang are now getting, and how out of touch they are with the grassroots membership of the party.

Intimidate a BNP member, you’d have more luck knitting fog!

North West Region's first Voice of Change meeting.

Last Wednesday evening around 40 British National Party officials and activists attended a Voice of Change meeting in Blackburn. They were, in the most part, people whom I recognised as being amongst the most active members of the party in the North West and Yorkshire areas, and there were at least seven current or ex local councillors included in the audience.

The Meeting started with the Chairman, Dave Jones, reading out an apology from Cllr Sadie Graham. Cllr Graham had been scheduled to speak at the meeting, but because of unexpected council commitments she was unable to attend. After which Bev Jones (ex-NW regional organiser and National fundraiser) gave a brief, but very enlightening, summery of events leading up to the present crisis within the party. Questions and comments from the floor were numerous during Bev’s talk and many problems, which local officials had experienced over the last three or four years with the party’s management, came to light. It is now well over two months since the first round of expulsions, which sparked the current crisis within the party, but it must now be very clear to everyone that many local officials have been covering up for both the mistakes and gross incompetence of the leadership for years.

After a break Charles Mather (Wigan organiser) talked about where he thought the party should go from here, and how with goodwill on both sides this crisis could be resolved to the benefit of both the party, and the British people. Discussions then continued with contributions being made from all sections of the meeting, including the Yorkshire contingent, about ways of moving the party forward while waiting for the upcoming leadership challenge. The meeting ended with a collection for the family defence fund. Many members stayed around to talk afterwards, and the depth of feeling became even clearer than before: the British National Party belongs to its members not to a small Griffin/Collett gang.

Enemies of the British National Party and the British People, from what ever side, should take note: The grassroots membership of the party intend to take the party back, making it fully electable and fit for national government. The BNP is set to make a difference for the British people, get on board or get out of our way!

Cllr Sadie Graham: 7:30 pm - 27th February in Blackburn Lancashire.

Honesty-Democracy-Electability.

Last month, a Parish meeting Hall in the small English village of Brinsley in Nottinghamshire, saw well over a 100 BNP members attend a meeting to discuss much needed democratic changes to the party’s constitution, and how these can best be achieved.

Cllr Roger Robertson, who until last month was the BNP’s SE regional organiser, chaired the Conference. Also on the top table with Cllr Robertson were; Cllr Sadie Graham, Kenny Smith, and Steve Blake.

The first half of the meeting saw, Cllr Sadie Graham, Kenny Smith, and Steve Blake give detailed accounts of the troubles and mismanagement that led up to the current crisis within the party. People listening to theses accounts were left in no doubt that: most if not all the problem could be laid at the feet of just one man, Mark Collett! Although of course, as Chairman, the final responsibility for allowing the megalomaniac Collett to rake this havoc on the party, must be Nick Griffin's. Kenny explained that he had started the ‘Enough is Enough’ (EiE) blog, only after the Chairman had subverted the party’s constitution and threatened to sack anyone complaining about the situation. At that point his duty to the ordinary grassroots members, who pay his wages, clearly outweighed any duty of loyalty he owed to a Chairman who was allowing this damage to continue unchallenged. The next speaker was Cllr Sadie Graham, who gave an extremely professional presentation about the essential changes that are need, within the BNP, if we are to become a major political party that can take on and beat any of the current big three parties. These changes, she explained, are also needed for the internal stability of the Party.

After a short break, questions were taken from the floor and the feelings of ordinary members on how to take the party forward, to a fully democratic and electable party, were canvassed. Shows of Hands were taken from motions laid by members to the meeting. One of these votes decided by an overwhelming majority that no new party should be considered, and that far from wanting to split the party, this movement is a pressure group for democratic change within the party. To this end a leadership challenge will be mounted, as soon as the current constitution allows. Although who that candidate will be will depend on the whether the currently expelled members get their membership back in time for that election.

It was also decided that the issue of supporting, and taking an active part in, current BNP campaigns and other events should be left to the individual’s own conscience. The meeting ended with a round up of planned events and the sale of merchandise to raise funds for the family defence fund, which was given by Bev Jones.

Everyone who attended the conference yesterday can now be in no doubt that: Griffin has bitten off more than he can chew this time!

.

A Final word about how we should progress now.

My own view on this issue of members taking part in upcoming BNP events, and campaigns, is: that we should make an effort to take part in every available way we can. And we should do this while clearly identifying ourselves as part of the VofC pressure group, ie start our leadership challenge now! Obviously a badge saying ‘Griffin must go’ is a none starter, but one that is recognised by our own members as identifying us as VofC supporters, while meaning something entirely different to the voting public, would do the trick nicely. If we include the words: ‘Honesty’ ‘Democracy’ and ‘Electability’, no one could argue that these are not very laudable aims.

Up to now we have allowed Griffin and his cohorts to choose the field of battle, we must take this fight into the very heart of the party, its grassroots membership. We must be seen as modernisers, whose aim is to move the party forward, not as splitters, and we must tar Griffin with Collett (the most disliked person in the BNP) at every opportunity. Make our case: what image do you want for the BNP: Cllr Sadie Graham (well respected councillor and mother) or Mark Collett (Young Nazi and Proud)?

A fully electable and democratic BNP is only 5 months away: let’s start our campaign today!

A concise, and very informative, analysis of the current troubles within the party.

.
By Roger Robertson
.
.
Now is time for reflection, taking stock of the current situation and moving forward in a concise and controlled way to the benefit of the Party.Firstly, a bit about myself. I am 61 years of age, married with 2 grown up children and own a small telecoms business. I have been a party member for several years and was the South East Regional Organiser until I recently resigned this post.
.
When I joined the BNP I made no secret of this to my friends and colleagues. Many threw their hands up in horror as if I had taken leave of my senses and there were even mutterings in my Lodge that I should resign. However, people that knew me realised that I do not make rash judgements and were quite willing to give me the benefit of the doubt. Over the years, and with what has happened politically, my friends have come to realise that I made the correct decision and a few have joined the Party. Many others give their tacit support, but cannot join because they consider it a step too far and are reluctant to face any opprobrium. They realise that the vast majority of the BNP are ordinary decent people and have the same concerns as themselves but on a professional basis they simply consider that we have too much baggage to become a member and that we are not well enough organised (This I fear is what is holding us back from taking Middle England votes). I have done my best to counter these arguments, but was finding myself increasingly frustrated by several factors. Firstly, although we promote freedom of speech, I found that whenever I spoke to Nick about party business or strategy he always replied in the first person singular! Secondly I was becoming increasingly frustrated with the incompetence of the Treasury Department, plus a lack of transparency with our funds.
.
I also had concerns over Mark Collett and found the Advisory Council Meetings nothing more than a talking shop (No doubt the "Central Management Team" will find themselves equally ineffectual). To my delight, I found others, more senior, within the Party who had had the same concerns for considerably longer than myself, which they had also conveyed to Nick but to no avail. These are all well documented and thus I need not recount them again. However, my awakening came at the Blackpool Conference when, in conjunction with Sadie, Kenny and Steve we had a "private" meeting with Nick to resolve the situation of Ian Dawson being barred from the Conference plus the aforementioned issues. In my business and social life I have been in some involved and highly charged meetings but this was the first time where I have ever seen such truculence and a total disregard of the opposing viewpoint despite our protestations of loyalty. I knew then that there were going to be major problems!
.
Moving forward, where are we now? Firstly it is quite clear that there is now no room for compromise. The Party is in disarray at the top. It is effectively bankrupt and yet we have had these appeal letters being sent out at a huge cost. We have Nick Griffin telling us on the BNP web site that we are neo Nazis, (as did his poodle, Simon Darby, on News Night) and that there is now a "mopping up" operation going on as the "revolt" is over. We have had any number of well documented illegal acts perpetrated by the hierarchy and, with this South African "Security Department" in a position of power the whole ethos of an open and responsible political party has been lost (This had already been lost to a degree by Nick Griffin calling those who voted against him "vermin" - what epithets are coming our way I wonder?). All of this can be firmly laid at the door of one person - Nick Griffin.
.
What then is the way forward? We have to communicate, via mail, in a factual and non judgemental manner, the precise happenings and how and why they have come about to all our members (This is of major importance as I know some of the Organisers in the South East are deliberately witholding information from members). We then need to promulgate our proposals for moving the Party forward and making it electable.
.
Firstly we get rid of the baggage. This will then generate donations from those presently holding back, which will enable us to build an infrastructure which is fair, democratic and, above all open and accountable to its members (I have a close personal friend who, being a Chartered Accountant, offered his services to the Party for a nominal remuneration which was rejected out of hand). There are many more of these able and Professionally qualified people who will willingly work to promote a Party dedicated to preserving the culture and heritage of this land for their children, grandchildren and generations yet to come. We separate the Political from the Executive and, without going into detail, we set up an infrastructure capable of winning us seats. We have "shadow spokesmen/women", experts in their subjects, who are quoted in and by the press and we move away from one person speaking on every subject. We are also unique in that we have Members from every part of the political spectrum and if we can build on this we will be in a position to influence decisions made at the highest level and, take power before time runs out and this Island, our homeland, is reduced to a lawless, third world wasteland where Sharia Law, the gun and the bomb takes precedence over all that we hold dear and our descendants are strangers in their own land.
.
.
Notes on the above posting.
.
The above was taken directly from a comment, made by Roger Robertson, which appeared on the EiE blog.
.
My thanks go out to Roger for his concise, and very informative, description and analysis of the current troubles within the party. Roger's own solutions I think, also represent what many others (including myself) would like to see happen now.
.
This Current chaos may well lead to a far more democratic, and electable BNP. A BNP that many more decent people can join, without fear of the stigma that attaches itself to anyone connected to Mark Collett.
.
It's time now to move forward!

An open letter to the BNP's party Manager.

BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY
Preston & Lancaster Group
PO Box 733

Tel No 07870726820

27th December 2007
Dear Mr Brewer,

I am writing to resign both my position as the Preston & Lancaster organiser, and the Chorley contact, although I will be keeping my party membership. And I am writing now to explain my resignation to you.

As you know there has, since mid December, been a bitter struggle going on within the party between two groups, one of which wants to continue the modernisation of the party, which has been responsible for the electoral success we have had over the last few years. While the other, at least in my opinion, wants to hold the party back for their own selfish ends.

I will not go into great detail about the dispute, but will just say the first group is led by Cllr Sadie Graham: a hard working district councillor, and much respected & well liked lady, with exactly the sort of image needed if our party is to become truly electable in the eyes of the voting public. While the other camp is backing Mark Collett of ‘Young Nazi and Proud’ fame, as the next leader of the party when our current chairman steps down. Unfortunately Mr Griffin has aligned himself squarely with this last group, and it is alleged that he has been prepared to break the law, by bugging phones and intercepting and altering personal emails, in order to discredit anyone who opposes that group.

Unfortunately it is not only Mark Collett’s image that is holding back the party, although that does hang like a millstone around the necks of all our members, he has also caused chaos within the senior management echelons of the party. And it is this situation, rather than his image, that has led directly to this current crisis.

Let me assure you that, despite statements made by an official party spokesman on television last weeks, this is not an attempt at a Neo-Nazi coup, in fact it is just the opposite. The essence of this dispute is whether the party can prosper without a capable management team, and with a millstone like Mark Collett around the neck of every one of our candidates at election times. How many of us can really say, with our hands on our heart, that the name Mark Collett does not come up whenever we mention the British National Party in a conversation. I truly believe that a victory for Cllr Graham’s modernisers will put an end to that nightmare once and for all.

I still hope one day to be, once again, the local Chairman of a truly electable British National Party branch, but unless we win this current struggle to modernise our party that will I’m afraid remain just a dream

Yours sincerely,

Chris Hill

(Organiser Preston & Lancaster BNP & Chorley area Contact)

Merry Christmas everyone.

News about the Lancaster & Morecambe group's planned activities for the New Year, will be posted in the next few days.

Until then enjoy the holidays everyone.

Who now runs the BNP, Mark Collett or the membership?

This present struggle is clearly now a fight to decide who is in charge of the British National Party, its members or Mark Collett, It's that simple!

UAF flops in Blackpool.

video

Having just returned from Blackpool, after attending this weekend’s conference, I would like to make the following observations.

The 25 seconds video clip above taken from one of the hotel’s 3rd floor windows, at the height of the demo, clearly shows that less than 70 people (including the yellow jacketed marshals) turned out for this supposed UAF mass demo. Unfortunately some TV news reports deliberately gave a vastly inflated figure, for the attendance at the demonstration, of around 200. Compare this video to Granada's report of the demonstration, at link below.

We were told that people were to be bussed in from all over Lancashire and the surrounding counties, including mass turnouts of UNISON and other TUC members from all over the North West. UAF really are now a spent force, and these days only attract total losers, and the mentally ill.

The conference itself was very professionally run, and a fantastic success, with 260 delegates attending (the maximum fire regulations allow). Although the Kimberly is a fantastic venue for smaller conferences, a larger venue will undoubtedly be needed next year. The BNP is moving forward come on board, or get out of the way!

News link:

Link to Granada TV report, watch it then ask yourself: 'can we really trust the mass media to be impartial?' I think not!

http://www.itvlocal.com/granada/news/ On the right hand side of the page click on Granada news, then Granada Reports for Saturday 17 Nov 2007 (The report is about 4 Min's into the program).

One last point:
UAF supporters aren't really all 7' tall. The video was originally shot in wide screen, but in order to get it onto this blog I had to use the standard 4:3 aspect ratio.

Joint Preston & Lancaster meeting.

Last Thursday a joint meeting of Lancaster & Preston members and supporters took place in Preston. It is intended that this will be the first of regular joint meetings, held on alternative months in each city.

This first meeting was well attended with almost 40 people, both members and supporters, braving the cold night air to attend. Cllr Paul Cromie from Bradford City Council was the main speaker of the night. Talking about his work as a councillor, and how despite a number of dirty, and total undemocratic, tricks from both UAF and the other parties, his wife Lynda was elected as the second BNP councillor in the ward a year after his own election.

From Paul’s talk it was clear that British National Party councillors, who buckle down to their grassroots ward work, are much preferred by the voters over the gravy train cronies put up by other parties.

Also present, at the meeting, was the BNP’s prospective candidate for the forthcoming Tulketh by-election in Preston, Mr Tony Bamber. This upcoming by-election, which is expected to be held in January, will be the first time we have stood a candidate in Preston since May 2006.

The meeting ended with a collection & raffle, which jointly raised almost £200 for local funds.

Late news!

Cllr Paul Cromie has, just last night, emailed the local Preston group with a promise of a £100 donation to the Tulketh by-election campaign. Just another example of Cllr Cromie’s total commitment to the survival of the British people.

A big thank you goes out to Paul from all members in both Preston & Lancaster. Well done (yet again) Paul!

Can you spot the odd man out?

Last week it was announced that: For the second year running, the British National Party’s national website had more visitors than all the other UK political web sites combined.

It was also revealed that the two eco-social groups most likely to visit the site, were from the more highly educated sector of the population, and the more deprived members of the working class.

Looking through the BNP’s site, it is easy to see why the first group would be attracted to it. While another story, covered widely in the press last week, may give a clue to why it attracts the latter. The current leader of the Labour party praised Margaret Thatcher, and welcomed her back into 10 Downing Street (Perhaps he plans to recruit yet another Tory adviser into his government).

The leader of a government which, before this one, had done more to destroy British industry than any in our history, was praised by the current New Labour Prime Minister, as a conviction politician. Is it any wonder then that working people are turning away from their old misguided loyalties towards the Labour party, and are now turning to the only real hope for all our people, the British National Party.

If Keir Hardie was alive today, I have no doubt that he would be standing shoulder to shoulder with Nick Griffin, to win back our nation. And as for a party leadership challenge: Nick Griffin ‘V’ Keir Hardie, now that would be an election worth voting in!

Finally the question: ‘who is the odd one out?’ well the obvious answer that it’s Nick Griffin, as both the others are brain dead, is wrong. The correct answer is Gordon Brown, as both the others have or had the best interests of working people at heart.

Nick Griffin, Chairman of the British National Party.

Result of the leadership election:
.
Nick Griffin..........91 %
Chris Jackson.........9 %
(Enough said I think)
.
Well Done Nick Griffin.
.
Now let's get on with the job of winning our Nation back!

BNP Leadership challenge.

A longtime party member, Chris Jackson, has announced that he is running for the leadership of the Party. Now personally I don’t think Chris Jackson is a bad bloke, and he has worked hard for the party in the past, but he is not a natural leader.

In fact I’m afraid Chris has absolutely no leadership qualities at all. Now there’s nothing wrong with that, I consider myself to be just a good grassroots member, and one of this party’s strength is its affinity with the ordinary people of our Nation. But to flourish we also need a leader with talent and leadership qualities. The simple fact is: Nick Griffin has these qualities in abundance, while Chris Jackson lacks them completely.

Most members, I’ve spoke with lately, welcome this as a chance to show support for, and appreciation of, Nick’s leadership.

Undoubtedly Nick Griffin will win this election easily, but not because it’s a ‘shoe in’ as was the case in the labour leadership change a few days ago. Gordon Brown was chosen by his predecessor, in much the same way as the old Roman Empires chose their own successors, and such is the case in all fascist parties.

The British National Party leader is chosen by its grassroots members. People should ask themselves which is the real fascist party, New Labour or the BNP?

As always, the views expressed here should not to be taken as necessarily representing official British National Party policies.

Changing face of our towns & cities.

This is a (single sided A5) slip we used in our recent local election campaign here in Lancaster.
.
However, after reading it again, I think it could apply to many other towns and cities around our country.

It's also interesting to note that the United Nations backs the British people's fight for survival.

UKIP, a party with its head in the sand.

While watching the video below two things struck me:

1. I totally agree with almost everything it says.

2. It totally fails to mention an even greater threat to our Nation, the ethnic invasion which has taken place on an unprecedented, and ever increasing, scale since the early 60’s.

Just shouting about the threat from a European super state is like making a fuss in 1940, about the threat from Italy, while totally ignoring the Germans.

Yes the EU is a threat to our Nation, and its people, but to defeat the EU just to hand our country over to Islamic control, would make any victory over the European super state meaningless.

UKIP is a party which is afraid to mention race, that is equivalent to being afraid to talk about the Nazi threat in 1940.

We the indigenous British people will (If nothing is done about it) be a minority in our own land by the year 2060, and simply defeating the threat from the EU will do nothing to prevent this.

The British National Party is the only party prepared to take on both the EU, and mass immigration , UKIP will not!

While watching the video think:
EU (2007) = Italy (1940)
Islam and mass immigration (2007) = Nazi Germany (1940).

Lancaster's 'FASCIST SCAM’

Fascism (of the left wing sort that is) is alive and thriving on campus at Lancaster University.

The National student union organisation has, for a long time now, had a far left slant to its ruling body. A policy called no platform, which basically allows it to deny free speech to anyone they disagree with, has been introduced by some local student union branches, although not yet by LUSU (Lancaster University's Student Union).

This is of course the only action these left wing fascist can take when faced with reasoned debate, because they know they would lose in a free and open discussion of policies. Today the local student internet discussion forum removed my right of reply to postings made on its site, while allowing postings from someone called Squadism who uses the logo shown above.

The no platform policy is supposed to apply to fascists; the irony is they are the very people who impose it. As far as I understand it (and I’m no expert on fascism) one of the key tenets of fascism is to prevent a free and open discussion of the facts, that’s how they thrive!

Can I assure the people running Lancaster’s SCAM forum, your fascist censorship will not in any way stop, or hinder, the growth of the British National Party in Lancaster.

SCAM really is an appropriate name for a discussion forum which denies the right of reply, ‘FASCIST SCAM’ even more so. .

A statement about this blog.

All local BNP groups and branches have been asked by head office, to make it clear that their local blogs are unofficial, and that the views expressed in them do not necessarily represent official British National Party polices.

This Lancaster & Morecambe blog was originally set up to provide an alternative discussion forum to the local UAF site, which like all such fascist organisations, denies the right of a reasoned reply to its postings. This original purpose has now been expanded to include coverage of the local group’s activities, and during elections will provide a platform for our local candidates.

Local blogs have a great future in the arena of democratic politics, providing local members with an internet presence, and allowing local people to find out about the local activities of the party. While each local blog on its own can have only a tinny effect at the national level, the combined effects of each local site, when put together, is potentially massive. But it must be stressed that these are not official British National Party sites.

For the best political site on the web, including news and views from official party sources, visit the party’s official web site at: http://www.bnp.org.uk/ .

Lancaster BNP vote for 2006 & 2007

A true indication of voters support for the British National Party is shown here.

Total people voting for the BNP
June '06........... 220
Dec '06............. 93
May '07........... 297
Average vote in 2006 was 156
.
increase in vote in 2007 297/156 = 1.9
representing a 90% increase in support this year, FANTASTIC!

Mr Osswoski's abacus needs new batteries.

Lancaster UAF's very own Ketlan Osswoski may well have an O level in fashion & design (see his photo on this page), but when it comes to a mathematical analysis of election results he gets a big ZERO out of ten. Unable to find the battery compartment on his old abacus, for his blog's latest posting he has now had to resort to counting on his fingers. This has unfortunately limited his numbering ability to 10 or less.

Just to help him out a bit, the calculations go like this:

Total people voting in the Skerton West election =1399 (announced at the count earlier today, but not published on the council's web site).

Total people casting a voting for the British National Party = 297

Percentage of the voters who supported the BNP this time is 297/1399 = 21.2%
Yesterday's vote as a % of our December’s by-election vote: 297/93 =319%
That is more than 3 times the vote we got last December, a great result by any standard.

As for the abacus Ketlan, it may be mains powered why not try sitting in the bath and playing with a couple of wires from a live plug.

NO KETLAN DON’T, I WAS ONLY JOKING THAT’S DANGEROUS!
.
Don’t worry folks! Ketlan hasn’t sat in a bath for years, and certainly won’t know how to use the taps.

BNP vote increased over 219%in less than 5 months.

With 21.2% of the voters in Skerton West voting BNP yesterday, the 219% increase in our vote can only be called fantastic.

In last December’s Skerton West by-election, the British National Party’s share of the vote was 93. Yesterday 297 people turned out and voted BNP, that’s an incredible 219% increase in less than 5 months.

Now readers who remember the December by-election may also remember my description of our campaign as being low key, and so it was. For a more down to earth analysis we need to average our vote over the last two by-elections in the ward (June & December ’07). The total vote in both was 220+93=313 giving an average vote of just over 156.

Now comparing yesterday’s 297 with this average gives 297/156 shows a more realistic 90% increase in our vote, still an exceptionally good result by any standards.

Also what might be called the ‘icing on the cake’ for the local group, was our defeat of the Green Party’s candidate. The Greens won many seats in the city from Labour yesterday, including unthroning the leader of the council Ian Barker. They were however unable to beat the British National Party in a seat where environmental issues are the number one local concern on the doorstep.

The local British National Party still has a lot of hard work to do in Lancaster, but the ground has now been cleared, and the day when it’s the BNP who are defeating the Labour leader in the city must now be just that little bit closer.
.

Report on the final week of our election campaign.

Canvassing has been going well, and it is clear New Labour will be punished severely by the voters for the dreadful way they have treated ordinary British citizens.
.
Issues being brought up on doorsteps include the war in Iraq and, not surprisingly, the issue of cheap European immigrant labour dragging down wages, and taking jobs from local people. This is not an issue of race, the immigrants concerned are manly Polish or Eastern Europeans such as Romanians.

Surprisingly, local issues seem to be playing very little part in the voter's intentions. The one exception being a proposed bypass road, in the very North West of the ward.

It is also clear that the main opposition party, at a National level, has been unable to attract disgruntled voters. And with a much more active election campaign, than in the by-election last December, the British National Party is set to win a very greatly increased vote from that achieved just five months ago.
.
It is now becoming clear that a British National Party candidate, can change voter apathy into a positive vote for a truly patriotic party.

The British National Party giving voters a real chose.

Election update.

The Lancaster & Morecambe group delivered almost 500 individual addressed electoral communications yesterday. Registered postal voters, who received these letters, will be getting their voting slips in the post on Monday morning. Putting these letters out yesterday, give the voters the weekend to consider, our solutions too, the most relevant issues of the campaign.

Further individually addressed letters will be delivered to regular (on the day) voters late on in the campaign. More details of the planned campaign, if published here, would only give our opponents a greater insight into our election strategy, but rest assured this site will keep readers updated as soon as possible.

Further to my last posting.

This is a photograph that I’ve lifted from the RedWatch site. Now you have to ask yourself, what possible threat do these ladies pose to anyone?

I think it was Joseph Stalin who said: I may or may not agree with what you say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it!
Or was it Joe McCarthy?

Redwatch was warned!

When I included a photo of Ketlan Ossowski on this site, I also included a warning on the photo itself. That warning stated that I held the copyright, and would back any attempt to stop its unauthorised use. Well today it turns out RedWatch has decided to ignore my warning, and publish the photo on their nasty little site.

Now Ossowski may be a threat to our democratic way of life, but as far as I know he has never actually engaged in violence, and so should not appear on a site such as RedWatch. I originally published his picture in response to a picture of Nick Griffin that appeared on the Lancaster UAF site. Both Nick Griffin and Ketlan Ossowski are public figures (unlike Simone Clarke), so must expect to have their photos published. Being the chairman of a legitimate and registered political party makes Nick Griffin a public figure, likewise Ossowski gives press interviews as a UAF spokesman and therefore he also must be regarded as a public figure, all be it a ludicrous one .

I have today emailed Osswoski to offer my full support in any action he may wish to take against the editors of the RedWatch site. Not because I think Ossowski’s ugly mug deserves special protection, but because the RedWatch site regularly includes pictures of little old ladies protesting against US bases, and student demonstrating against road widening schemes. Therefore, like UAF itself, RedWatch has no part to play in a democratic system.

Local BNP’s flying start - leads UAF to start lying.

Ok that’s quite a corny title and also possibly a misleading one, as it may lead our readers to believe UAF lying is a new state of affairs, it’s not! UAF spreading lies is in fact quite normal. It also regularly denies the right of reply to articles and other reader’s comments.

One of their latest postings is unusual in one respect only, no it’s not truthful (now that would be a first), but it is at least home-grown and not one of their usual cut and paste jobs.

This latest rant refers to me (Chris Hill) no less than 17 times. Now it would take me a long time to point out all the misleading rubbish and downright lies in those 970 words. So I’ll correct only one, then post a copy of a reply I posted a few days ago. But don’t bother looking for it on their site they didn’t publish it.

The one correction I will make first is their contention that I’m from Bradford, I’m not! I was born and brought up in Lancashire, only moving to London to get work when I was 18. I did stand as a BNP candidate in Bradford four years ago, but moved back to Lancaster a few months later, after being made redundant.

Anyway I’ve an election to fight, so here’s that comment UAF refused to post, and I’ll leave it at that for the moment.

Dear antifascist,

Neither Copeland or Laidlaw were ever BNP members that's a facts, live with it!

The BNP did not claim Cottage had not been a member, just that he was not a member at the time, but so what anyway? So far, the only thing he has pleaded guilty to, is possession of cleaning chemicals, on all other charges he is entitled to the presumption of innocence.

As for other UAF lies, I’d be here till well after the May elections if I recalled them all (that’s the May 2011 elections). So here are just three;

1.
Paul Cromie tried to buy votes.

UAF lies again: Paul is an honest hard working councillor, who made a Christmas gift (totalling over £1000) to some of the most deserved in our society. Well-done Cllr Cromie.

2.
At the BNP annual conference, in Blackpool last November, conference attendees abused UAF demonstrators.

More UAF lies, the hotel's own security manager confirmed that there was no contact between demonstrators and any of our members at the conference. Not to mention your distortion of numbers involved in the conference. The Maximum possible capacity of 250 attended (fire regulations), but UAF lied putting the number at only 40-50, while their claim of around 200 demonstrators was in realty about 35-40.

3.
Andy Sykes is a decent honourable guy.

This guy went on national TV and admitted he had denied many thousands of voters in Bradford a chance to vote for the party of their chose. If I remember he said something along the lines of: ‘I’ve stopped five or six BNP candidates standing, so I’ve done my job well.’

In my opinion Sykes is a threat to democracy, and he’s as good as admitted it on National TV.

Well as I say I could go on almost indefinitely, but I said three so I’ll stop at those.

News from the Lancaster & Morecambe local elections.

The first of our local nominations (Skerton West Ward) was accepted, by the election office of Lancaster & Morecambe council, yesterday afternoon. And over the last week this same ward has been completely leafleted, with the first of our warm up leaflets.

Initial canvassing shows a good solid support, from the voters, for British National Party policies. It is this grassroots support that we will be building on over the next month as the campaign heats up. It is clear now that victory is only 30 days of hard work away.

The British National Party, representing the British people of Lancaster.

Lancaster & Morecambe election update.

Lancaster and Morecambe British National Party’s local election campaign got off to a flying start this week, with canvassing and the collection of nomination signatures in three wards.

The local group’s Gold ward is Skerton West, but it is hoped that at least two other seats will be contested. Voters in these other wards, which have been designated as Silver, will get the chance to support candidates who are truly interested in British people. And with three votes to cast, voters who are traditionally very loyal to what they see as ‘their’ party, will have the chance to vote BNP while still not totally abandoning these old allegiances.

This blog will inevitably be updated less often than normal during this election period, but normal serves (as they say) will be resumed very soon afterwards.

British National Party: heading to Victory in May’s local elections.

The Lancaster & Morecambe group is preparing for the upcoming local elections. This site will give weekly reports on our local campaign, as well as news from other groups in the North West area.
.
Independent election analysis, published in the Sunday Times yesterday (see link below), says the British National Party is set to make unprecedented electoral gains in those May elections, and it is the Lancaster group’s intention to add to those.

Notice of site intentions.

This blog was originally set up to provide a forum for critical analysis of the stories posted on the Lancaster UAF blog. That blog however has increasingly become a site which merely mirrors (cut and pastes) other peoples work, taken from other sites.
.
It has therefore been decided to restructure this blog as a newsletter, covering our local British National Party activities. With the upcoming local council election campaign, it is intended that this site will become a source of local news and information relevant to those elections.
.
On the very rare occasion when the UAF site does publishes, original work that warrants mention, we will of course carry such comments on them.

Lancaster UAF race-hate man guilty of shootings

The cut and paste illusionists of Lancaster UAF were at it again yesterday, doing what they do best, totally distorting the news.

In an article (taken, or should that be nicked, off a BBC news website), which has no connection with the British National Party, Lancaster UAF have decided to add there own little bit of bias to the story.
.
The original title of the article was ‘Race-hate man guilty of shooting’ no connection there with the British National Party you might think, and of course you’d be right. But when cut and pasted into the Lancaster UAF blog, all of a sudden the letters BNP miraculously appear in the title.

Lancaster UAF: never letting the truth get in the way of a good story, even someone else’s good story.
.
Please Note.
.
Lancaster UAF have now changed the title of the story, on their blog, from ‘BNP Race-hate man guilty of shooting’. The new title is still not the original BBC one, and is clearly still meant to wrongfully discredit the party.

Simone Clarke update.

I hope later this evening to have a first hand report on the Fascist UAF demonstration, that took place yesterday evening, out side the Dorchester Hotel in London. But while you’re waiting for that, why not send Simone a quick email of support at: simoneclarke36@hotmail.co.uk
(Keep emails short, as hopefully she’ll have a lot of them to read)

Standing up to fascism takes courage, but must be done!
Once again well done Simone.
.
Further update:
The demonstration was apparently an even bigger flop than the last one. Reports give the number attending as less than a dozen UAF scruffs. So it has been decided that it warrants no further mention here.

Lancaster's UAF Fascists are at it again.

Regular readers of this blog, will know the contempt that I feel for the ironically named UAF organisation, and its fascist ridden offshoot here in Lancaster.
.
However Last week's (cut and paste) posting on the Lancaster UAF blog, calling for yet another witch hunt against, the English National Ballet’s principle dancer, Simone Clarke has shocked even me.
.
The full story can be read in the posting directly below this one, which has been moved up from an earlier date. Although both the English National Ballet, and her own union, say she has broken neither organisations rules by choosing to take up the democratic right of every citizen to join a political party, UAF are still calling for her sacking!
.
Their protest last month saw around 20, scruffy protesting fascist’s, turn up outside a London theatre where Simone was appearing. That protest was an almighty embarrassing flop, for the UAF organisation. Despite this however, UAF is continuing its campaign of intimidation against Simone. They are planning to demonstrate outside an ENB fundraising event later this month.
.
This continuing harassment must surely be one of the most undemocratic, and hypocritical, actions that any UK based fascist group has attempted during this present century.
.
You can e-mail Simone with a quick supportive message at; simoneclarke36@hotmail.co.uk .

Simone Clarke's story & UAF's shame!

Simone Clarke is a principle dancer with the English National Ballet, she is also a British National Party member. Now most people at this point will say ‘so what! we’re a free country aren’t we?' Well whether we’re a free country or not is debatable, certainly we won’t be if UAF have their way. Returning to Ms Clarke now, last month she danced the principal roll in the ballet ‘Giselle’ at a London theatre. This was her first appearance since the Guardian newspaper violated her right to privacy, and a free political viewpoint, by revealing her membership of the British National Party just before Christmas last month. The Fascist organisation, and ridiculously hypocritically named, United Against Fascism don’t agree that democracy means respecting a person’s right to join or support any party they wish, without being subjected to intimidation. Or it may be they do accept this, but just don’t like our democratic way of life, one can only guess at their reasons.Anyway they (UAF) decided to organise a mass demonstration outside the theatre, were Ms Clarke was dancing, on Friday afternoon. They pronounced on their websites that they expected at least a hundred demonstrators to turn up.Well newspaper reports tell of twenty protestors (it should be noted that the media always overestimate UAF numbers as a mater of NUJ policy). While no counter demonstration was organised, a party of 'new' BNP ballet fans from the London area did attend the performance.By all accounts the ballet was a great success, with Simone receiving a standing ovation for her performance, and just maybe for her brave stance against intimidation as well. This is not the end of Simone’s battle with the UAF fascist, they will continue to use dishonest and snide methods to get her sacked. But where ever UAF shows it’s ugly face, the BNP’s members and supporters will be right there as well, standing up against them. Our ancestors fought, for hundreds of years, to get a democratic say in the running of our nation, and no scruffy fascist UAF member is going to take that away from us.Dance on with pride Simone.

Lancaster BNP members help out at Burnley by-election.

Despite a desperate attempt by the UAF organisation and the three main political parties, to muddy the waters with inaccurate and irrelevant slurs, the British National Party yesterday won 538 votes (27.1%) in a Burnley council by-election.

Paul McDevitt, standing for the British National Party, beat candidates from the Labour and Conservative parties to secure second place. The by-election was caused by the death, late last year, of the sitting Labour councillor.

A car full of members from Lancaster BNP drove over to Burnley early yesterday morning, and spent much of the day manning polling stations and reminding people to vote. Driving back to Lancaster, before the result was announced, it was clear the response we had received from voters was very positive, and the result was going to be close.

In the end smear leaflets full of lies and half truths, from the three other parties and UAF, distracted voter enough to deny the British National Party an outright victory. But with over 500 voters, already backing the party in the ward, the prospect of Brunshaw voters returning a British National Party councillor this May, must now be a very real one.
